Who Wouldve Won: Cotto vs Margarito

Now there are some who say that we still dont know if Margarito had the wraps for this fight or whatever but lets just assume he did for the sake of this argument. Some think he still has a very good chin & pretty good power even without the wraps. So officially, who do you think wouldve won without the loaded gloves? Both guys were near there prime at the time

I'm going with Cotto, because I think the wraps made the difference. But then again I appreciate Cottos style a bit more because its boxing and not I have no regrard for defense like Marg's style.

        Cotto.

Margacheato looks average without his special gloves.

If that's the case, Miguel wins. Shane doesn't have an iron chin(good but not great) and he didn't even get phased by Margaritos punches. Miguel was well on his way to winning on the cards until the last few rounds when he wore down by the power of the punches. Without the power, Miguel doesn't get backed up and is able to box his way to a UD.

If Margs was cheating, I could see how it made Cotto's defense a bit ****tier since his arms probably got tired and wary from getting hit with bricks. So many odd things about this fight, I will never watch the fight even though at the time I saw it it was an exciting fight. But its a tarnished fight in my opinion. I had gain mad respect for Margarito after the fight, but that hand-wraps **** will always linger in my mind.

Margarito beats the crap out of Cotto 10/10 times that is why Miguel wants no part of him in a rematch. Imagine if Cotto does an encore of his no mas like in the first fight, that would be too embarassing to watch.

Or he has morals/standards as a man and doesn't want to give a cheater like Margarito a payday. Right now Miguel is a huge name is the sport and fighting him is a privilege and reward. Miguel feels like he was wronged and is entitled to his opinion. I agree with him especially in the sport of boxing, where it is possible that Margarito took a part of his career from him and it might of not been legit. If I thought someone cheated me I wouldn't look at him, speak of him, and I certainly wouldn't give him a chance to earn millions on my name.

                    1) Cotto had a busted up nose early. Could that have happened without Plaster?

                    2) Cotto's punches didn't faze Marg, although Cotto made Marg look like what he is at wrld level, a punching bag.

                    3) Cotto's stamina woudl have been better with better breathing.

Cotto wins if Marg had the advantage of Plaster.
