Wow, I thought you actually followed the sport. A couple months ago before he fought Shane, he said that he MOVED off the 14 day offer dude. Smarten up...
date of article“I gave him a chance, up to 14 days out. But my new terms are all the way up to the fight. They can come get us whenever, all the way up to the fight, random drug test. That’s what it is,” Mayweather said.

I think Manny should just take the tests. I also am not going to pretend I know his full reasons for not wanting them. Its just that people expect Manny to just take the tests when its not beneficial to him in any way. There is much more upside for Floyd if he drops the test than there is for Manny accepting them. Floyd drops the testing and beats Pac like everyone expects, he beat the 2nd best fighter of his generation while that fighter was possibly doping. Manny accepts and loses like everyone expects he lost because he couldn't dope and all his previous wins are still in question. I for one can understand that as a legitimate reason for not taking the test whether thats his reasoning or not, and if he honestly believes it will weaken in him in anyway why would he risk that when hes probably going to get beat anyway?Manny doesn't have to accept getting his ass whipped and I'm pretty sure (unless he's juicing or really doesn't want to fight Floyd) that that is not HIS reason for lying constantly. So the issue boils down to Manny and not necessarily how we feel about his chances. Not that it matters, the PED testing is a separate issue from what you're discussing. And he has lied and backtried plenty. Based on that alone he has a lot to prove. Besides, what is the point of half-assing OST? Just say you won't take the tests, period. Instead of giving us all of this BS. Because now we know (some of knew before) that all those excuses were fairy tales. So if you can do 14, do the full, uncompromised testing. End of story.Comment

Of course he can easily make 140.
It's 144 that is the tough one.
At 147 Floyd has almost all the advantages. Height, reach, defense, overall boxing ability.
If Floyd is so insistent on making the smaller Manny further weaken himself with the multiple blood tests, why not make Floyd do something he hates to do? (and hasn't done since the Chavez fight) Drain himself a bit to make weight.Last edited by Jim Jeffries; 05-20-2010, 05:51 PM.Comment

The sheer amounts of ******ity seeping from this thread is dumfounding. I"ll remain on the sideline though, as I no longer care to debate with individuals who's IQ aligns with the size of their penises.
I will say this though. I find it amazing that Floyd hasn't said a word about a potential Pacquiao bout since the Mosely fight. He isn't negotiating through the media, we haven't found him in every other interview throwing around Pacquiao's name, etc. He's been silent. He mentioned months ago that the 14 day cutoff was no longer on the table, that Pac had his chance and ran. Now all of a sudden, 4 months after negotiations fell through, Pac is suddenly cool with 14 days, After Mayweather's taken it off the table? If you don't see the irony in that, you're insane.Comment
