I think its possible Manny feels Floyd is the one trying to get an advantage in this situation. We've seen Floyd try to get an advantage in past fights same as we've seen Manny do it. I just don't see the Manny should accept what Floyd wants or he's guilty argument. If Manny was a nobody and refused a mega fight because of tests I see the argument, but Manny is a superstar in his own right. The main problem I have with Floyds team is that they put comments out there about Manny cheating and now casual fight fans think boxing is corrupt. They in no way helped the sport with those accusations and I think it may also play into Manny reasoning for refusing the tests. I also have some leniency towards Pac and his team because I feel Mannys reward for taking the tests is an ass whipping and then people are gonna say its because he wasn't roided. He's really in a no win situation when it comes to proving hes clean unless he takes the tests and win which I dont think is very likely.

I don't see that argument either. What I see is the argument based on Manny's actions. The lies, the backtracking...it's ridiculous. Step up and take the tests. If your blood sickness has now been cured, then go ahead and take the full, uncompromised testing. Let the chips fall where they may in the ring.

Accepting the blood tests and then getting his ass whipped doesnt prove anything for him though. People will say the reason he lost is because he wasnt roided. Hes really in a no win situation unless he takes the tests and beats Floyd, but I dont think he could beat Floyd roided to the max so what does he have to prove?

Manny doesn't have to accept getting his ass whipped and I'm pretty sure (unless he's juicing or really doesn't want to fight Floyd) that that is not HIS reason for lying constantly. So the issue boils down to Manny and not necessarily how we feel about his chances. Not that it matters, the PED testing is a separate issue from what you're discussing. And he has lied and backtried plenty. Based on that alone he has a lot to prove. Besides, what is the point of half-assing OST? Just say you won't take the tests, period. Instead of giving us all of this BS. Because now we know (some of knew before) that all those excuses were fairy tales. So if you can do 14, do the full, uncompromised testing. End of story.
