Funny how Pacquiao came out today saying he'll accept the 14 day cut-off date. The same day Floyd Landis admits to PED use and that one Canadian doctor gets arrested for giving athletes PED's.

Pac's lawsuit most not be going well.

      Now that Manny has agreed,

      its not good enough?

      Why?
14 days is cool. I have no problem with it at all, I just want to see the fight made. Unlike many on this site I'm "boxing fan" not a "fighter fan boy"

Floyd changed his stance months ago you idiot. He clearly said take the 14 days or else the next time around no cut-off. And he said if his ppv does better than manny's which it did. Then he can forget about 50/50. And don't even bring up that bs about mosley being a big name and clottey isn't known. You can't say Manny can fill up a stadium by himself and then in the same sentence say he only sold 700,000 because clottey isn't known. Don't work that way.

There were two deals one from Jnr's and the other from Pac's, neither one was willing to budge; but now one is willing to budge in order to make the fight happen. How's that? Is that better for you?

Scared to see Floyd get handled? Pac couldn't "handle" Floyd on his best day, unless of course Manny is on PEDs. I never said he should agree to the 14 days. I never liked the idea of a cutoff date. I always thought the tests should last up to the day of the fight like Floyd originally proposed.

You want to talk about things changing. Lets talk about how Pac changed after the Oscar fight. Before the Oscar fight, Pac didn't demand that David Diaz fight him at a catchweight for the 140 pound belt, but he did it to Cotto after the Oscar fight. Before Oscar, Pac couldn't draw flies and would have gladly accepted an equal split of the purse with Hatton. After the Oscar fight, he refused to fight him unless he got more money than Ricky, even though Hatton was drawing the crowd and the PPV buys.

So what the hell do you expect from Floyd? He is in the driver's seat now just as Pac was before. So he can make all the demands he wants, including no cutoff on testing!!!! If Pac doesn't like it, he can fight Margarito for one-fourth the amount he would make against Floyd (but, at least Margarito wouldn't get the advantage as Floyd would)!

What hurt Pacquiao's bargaining power in these negotiations with Floyd the most is that he was offered a similar deal just prior to the Mayweather-Mosley bout and turned it down. However since the Mayweather-Mosley bout and the numbers it has produced, have now weakened Pacquiao's leverage over Floyd, to the point of him no longer being a price maker but a price taker. Mayweather holds all the cards as we speak. In their last bouts for example, Mayweather doubled Pacquiao numbers in terms of PPV sales; Compared to 1.4M to 700K. Also, Mayweather earned $40M in his last fight as compared to Pacquiao who earned just $10M and that was with a B-side opponent in Sugar Shane Mosley who is not even a box office office draw or PPV attraction.

bro you do realize that Floyd said that the 14 day stip was now off the table way back in February right?

see I understand where people are coming from. Manny allegedly now states 14 days is fine to which his fans now point at Floyd and say

"hey sissy there is your 14 days man up or be called a ducker"

but why ignore the facet that Floyd had already said that the 14 day cut off was no longer on the table at least two months prior to this?

The sheer amounts of ******ity seeping from this thread is dumfounding. I"ll remain on the sideline though, as I no longer care to debate with individuals who's IQ aligns with the size of their penises.

I will say this though. I find it amazing that Floyd hasn't said a word about a potential Pacquiao bout since the Mosely fight. He isn't negotiating through the media, we haven't found him in every other interview throwing around Pacquiao's name, etc. He's been silent. He mentioned months ago that the 14 day cutoff was no longer on the table, that Pac had his chance and ran. Now all of a sudden, 4 months after negotiations fell through, Pac is suddenly cool with 14 days, After Mayweather's taken it off the table? If you don't see the irony in that, you're insane.
