Anyone who doesn't want Floyd to agree to what he agreed to before doesn't want the fight to happen. It's that simple.Comment

It's not that. It's just why now? What has changed from then to now that makes 14 days good enough when it wasn't good enough back when it was first offered? If I remember correctly Roach said giving in would be like giving the first 2 rounds away. So giving the first 2 rounds away is all of a sudden ok now?Comment

So why would people want Pac to agree to what he said he wouldn't agree to before? The same people who were happy with the lawsuit and said the testing was dumb in the first place are the same ones now saying "well Pac said ok now it's ok." Can't have it both ways man.Comment

yea people dont see that. They see it as oh manny agreeing now so its ok, even though that wanst the offer that was on the table anymore its 0 cut off, its been like that for the past 5months. If manny wanted the fight bad he should of agreed to the 14day cut off then when it was on the table. Now the 0 day cut off date is on the table so if he wants the fight agree to that, or ask for a 3day window which will show you want the fight real bad and 3 days is more then enough time to recover from a blood test.it's not that. It's just why now? What has changed from then to now that makes 14 days good enough when it wasn't good enough back when it was first offered? If i remember correctly roach said giving in would be like giving the first 2 rounds away. So giving the first 2 rounds away is all of a sudden ok now?Comment

completely agree man. It's not that. It's just why now? What has changed from then to now that makes 14 days good enough when it wasn't good enough back when it was first offered? the bottom line is, they heard mayweather say he was going to demand testing "all the way up to the fight, and declare a 60-40 split," this time around.
he deserves it, and now top rank realizes what a great deal they had going the first time.
now i'm not going to play cheerleader for a fighter during the negotiation process. if mayweather agrees to the previous deal he offered, great. if he puts forth the new demands he said he would this time, he deserves it.
bottom line is, top rank knows he does also, and they want to go back to the "old terms," otherwise, they'll paint mayweather as the "bad guy" and try to blame him for the fight not happening this time also.
it'll be interesting to see what he does. IMO, he might accept the 14-day previous deal, and he'll request 60-40 or close to it. we'll see.Comment

Just got off the phone with Floyd Mayweather Sr to ask him about Pacquiao's willingness to accept the 14 day cutoff for the PED drug testing. He said, "I don't really want to get up in that topic. Whatever Pacquiao's doing he's doing, and whatever he ain't doing he ain't doing."Comment

Anything to make the fight happens, I guess. At least you have one team willing to concede. It's not that. It's just why now? What has changed from then to now that makes 14 days good enough when it wasn't good enough back when it was first offered?
