Why does Pacquiao have to be different from all the other fighters? Mosley did the testing unconditionally and a lot of other fighters are willing to too. This don't impress me at all or eliminate my su****ions about him. And I still lay all the blame on him for the fight not happening with Floyd.

They both killed the fight in the first negotiations and are both to blame. Floyd could have made the fight if he'd agreed to 24 days, Pac could have made the fight if he'd agreed to 14 days. Anyone who blames just one fighter for the negotiations breaking down before is nothing more than a fanboy.

24 days was regarded as reasonable by most PED experts.

Plus the 14 day offer was not made during the negotiations, it was made after the negotiations had already broken down. By that time, Pac was too angry about the smear campaign to be willing to compromise any further and in effect, threw his toys out of the pram. I don't defend him for doing that, but it was certainly no worse than what Floyd did. They were both to blame.

And killing the fight now would be far more far-reaching and far worse for boxing than killing the fight in the first negotiations, because after the first negotiations broke down, it was generally expected that the fight could still be made later this year. If the fight is killed now, that will almost certainly be the end of any hope of it ever happening.

my guess is that Mayweather may now see the May 1st testing plan as a success and no longer wants to fight with anything other than this testing in the manner as to which it was administered.

he can counter that it's now been done, it's now shown to to adversely affect the fighters other than it being a bit invasive and done without having the commission bear the burden of forking over the cost of this.

14 days was Mayweather's last ditch effort to make the fight. Manny said no. Okay fine but Manny IMO risked his position knowing full well there would be a fighter out there who would accept OST.

since there is now precedent Mayweather can definitely fall back on that as a chip to Manny.

and boxing has been built on a lot of things without basis. Somewhere someone agreed to catchweight fights without there being a system in place to support it yet now we do it almost on a regular basis

sometimes things have to start somwhere and whether it be for greedy reasons or not if something like better testing comes out of it then it could be a good thing

But it has to be across the board, not for one particular set of fights.

The kicker in all of this is that Floyd had 40 fights and never once raised any stink about uneven playing fields.

lol you said we know now that mayweather didnt want the fight last year when it was manny who rejected the 14days but now accepting it now. If the 14days is good now to him it should of been good then so that means he didnt want the fight last year off your logic. Now manny accepting a 14day cut off that dosnt exist anymore, because 4months ago i could of sworn mayweather said no more cut off dates and i could of sworn after the mosley fight he said no more cut off dates so idk how he agreeing to something that dosnt exist anymore. I knew this **** was going to happen. Now, Bob Arum and Packy can say they wanted to fight Floyd in November, but the offer was off the table, so they decided to fight Margacheato instead.

If he never wanted the fight, he would have just said so. He didn't negotiate with Mosley prior to the fight in May because after Mosley turned him down in 2006, he said he was no longer interested in fighting Mosley. He also didn't negotiate fights with Cotto after Cotto turned down the fight at 140 or with Paul Williams because he had no interest in fighting them. Floyd offered Ricky Hatton a fight three times before they actually fought (all three times Hatton's people turned it down). Yet, when he retired and Hatton decided he had enough balls to fight Floyd, all the dumbass haters on this site started saying Floyd was ducking Hatton. If Floyd didn't want the Pac fight, he would have never engaged in the negotiation process and would have never offered the 14-day compromise. Based on Floyd's history, only an idiot would think that he would waste two months negotiating a fight that he didn't want (and there are at least 100 idiots posting on this message board).
