He has almost flawless technique. It's the biggest reason why he barely lost any rounds in his prime. It's the biggest reason why he's still been able to defeat top 5 fighter in the World well into his 40s. It's the reason why he made fighters with 1 punch KO power look average.

Hopkins could be a boss in a video game. He's an ATG.

If you knock Hopkins I think you need to be reminded of what he did when he was younger. What he did to guys like Tito and Johnson are absolutely mind blowing. He completely manhandled them.

Bernard Hopkins... King of the head butt...King of the boring fights... king of the punch and clinch... This makes someone an A.T.G? Truthfully, hopkins hasnt done **** since he KOed Trinidad. Hopkins has a greater legacy than Monzon or Hagler.

Most have those two as definate ATGs so Hopkins is a definate ATG.

the first time he met a great fighter in his weight class he got beat by roy jones jr.

the second time & third time, he got beat by jermaine taylor. whose not even great.


the 4th time, he got beat by joe calzaghe.
