Bernard Hopkins... King of the head butt...King of the boring fights... king of the punch and clinch... This makes someone an A.T.G? Truthfully, hopkins hasnt done **** since he KOed Trinidad. This chump even screamed the silent black man rule (never let a whiteboy beat me) and LOST!!! WTF?!?!?!? Hopkins sucks to me... I'm sorry but he does. He throws 250 punches per fight and he's a serious clown. You should see him driving De La Hoyas old bentley around Delaware smh. Dude isn't that good. He loss to Jermain "Nap Nap" Taylor, should of lost to Winky, Calzaghe, and other lames... dude is ok to me. Not great. Some praise him for beating up Pavlik but come on now. Pavlik moved up in weight to fight him. Not to mention we all just learned that Pavlik is a MUMMY.- Boxing scenes own BADGUY

The only thing I am not sure about in it was about Leonard moping the floor with him.
And I may add : faking low blows , fighting smaller men as a principle ,
ducking Dawson and others , enjoying an extremely weak MW division in his reign there , Trinidad was never great to begin with : Naz took his weapon , just like with Margacheato , and got the same "surprise" : the cheater exposed both outside and inside the ring.

Hopkins does not make my all time top 20 MW list , nor my top 20 LHW list , nor my P4P top 50 list when I will compile it.
Why ? for the reasons above .

panda used to genuinely respect hopkins for what he accomplished in the sport, unified the middleweight division, ended his reign with 20 title defenses and became linear lhw champ after that, now that on paper is very admirable

hopkins his fighting style isnt, hopkins hasnt had an exciting fight since he fought trinidad, his fights with taylor were somewhat entertaining but nowhere near exciting.

its often the boxing public rewards exciting figther who show heart and skill and hate figthers who cheat and are awarded some history book type status based on fighting tomatoe cans

hopkins really isnt far from the second category, after watching hopkins-jones II panda was so disgusted panda will probably never watch a hopkins fight again (so hopefully he retires). hopkins has looked like an old man ever since the tarver fight, there was no action in the first six rounds of that fight but the theatrics with this guy really get old

You have to hate technical boxing if you hate B-Hop's game.
