(i.e. Kimbo Slice). You can't do that in boxing. Another thing, no one will be talking about UFC fighters 50 years from now.
That is exactly what pisses me off about most MMA fans, there always with the "boxing is dead" ****. Most "hardcore MMA fans" simply jumped on the bandwagon of something that was very well promoted, mostly by Dana White, and they dont know **** about boxing. I have been a big boxing fan for over fifteen years now, a freind of mine got me started watching MMA about five years ago and I used to go watch the PPV's at his house. I dont go anymore, only watch it if it is on free tv and there is no boxing on. MMA fans claim that MMA has more action, more chance of a knockout, they dont understand that boxing is more about a specific skillset. That argument aside, boxing likely still has just as high a percentage of stoppages as does MMA, and that is with padded gloves. Who hits harder now? If Tim Sylvia has woken up yet, somebody please ask him.

I'm not trying to be a *** but as of recent UFC has been putting on a fight like every 2-3 weeks it seems. UFC 100 was back in July or something and now they're on like what UFC 13? I'm not trying to hate but how many boxing ppvs have been held in the last year? All I'm saying is 400-500 ppvs is good if your doing it every 3 weeks. Also considering their biggest draws are either old or out of game they're doing well. I'll say to the day I die a big boxing fight will always beat a big ufc fight(and I have facts to prove it) but UFC aint dead, they just lack stars and are in a slump. Also when Pac and May retire will boxing still be able to do great numbers? I'm not trying to hate or anything but both sport are good and who's on top depends on who has the stars, which boxing as of now does.

dude, Kimbo is 1-2 in UFC, his win was over a clown who just circled all night, he just recently got beat baaad by a guy who had his 2nd mma fighter ever!!, and all the "pro" wreslters are excellent athletes, pls look up what Lesnar did before WWE, being an NCAA division 1 champion, and a former semi Minesota Vikings player shows what kind an athletic freak the dude is..

Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesnar's WWF partner is 5-0 LOL!!! another WWE star is undefeated in UFC.

What's next will Undertaker defeat Randy Couture for the title?

Maybe Hulk Hogan should stage a comeback, lord knows he stands a very good chance to be world champion in the JOKE UFC.

Kimbo beat Houston Alexander who beat Keith Jardine. Jardine and Alexander have done well in the UFC. Kimbo would do fck all at cruiser weight or heavy weight in boxing.

                      hey moron guess what?

Add all the numbers to the UFC PPV's for the entire past year that I listed on the front page. It adds up to 4.5 million total PPV's. Yes they have like 10-12 PPV's but they all average 200-400k buys and total was about 4.5 million buys.

Add just Pac and Floyd PPV's from last year guess what? They total about 5.5 million.

                      Boxing sells more. PERIOD.
