I don't know where you're from, but MMA gyms have sprouted everywhere. There's hardly any boxing only gyms left. And, in those MMA gyms, the classes that are highly popular is BJJ, which obviously made its name due to UFC's early years.

You see MMA gears, clothing in malls everywhere, where's boxing ? Bars are more likely to carry MMA PPVs than boxing, and it doesn't matter if it's BJ Penn or Machida, but with boxing, bars are highly selective with which PPV they will show.
