His bet gameplan is to try outbox the guy like he did with Diaz, and try some more rights from round six on to try hurt Khan. Surely he needs to try to catch him on the chin in round one to see what happens.
Paulie is much faster-handed than Diaz. And Paulie was the bigger man also.

In Khan, I see a taller, longer, and QUICKER fighter than Paulie. Unless you have ELITE boxing skill, you don't try to box that guy... you take him inside and test his heart and toughness.

Paulie has proven his toughness over time. Khan's heart is suspect. i think he has a lot of Ortiz in him.

      1) If your sig chick was more fair-skinned, I'd rub one out.

      2) The part in red is so true. I have seen paulie have problems with shorts in TWO fights and he needed an in-fight haircut. I love me some paulie, but I need him to get his head in the game.

      3) Floyd does a technical analysis before the fight. He knew Shane's jab was weak, and that Shane would be jittery and that Shane would tire. I have NOT heard any technical assessment of Khan's flaws from Team malignaggi. Have you?

I think Paulie should take the fight TO Amir Khan. Force Amir back. Stifle that good Amir jab, and make Khan uncomfortable. If Khan has been Ko'd, and has been wobbled in training, then he knows his chin is ****. And if you pressure Khan, I believe he will mentally fold.

C'mon, Paulie. Crush this kid, paisano.

I really didn't get the whole Hunting Shane thing. He did look impressive, he did what he had to do to win, but let's be real, nothing about that fight screamed "HUNTED".

Thing about Khan is his lack of nous inside, and we know Paul can disturb fighters' rhythm and trouble them with that (Cotto). Be interesting to see if it shows up in this.

It would be something to see, but I doubt it...Paulie doesn't commit on his punches and does pretty much the same stuff in the ring every fight...I hope he can pull the upset but I'm not expecting it.

Khan's heart is suspect? He got brutalised by Prescott and still he got up. And instead of running and trying to survive he walked straight back into the Columbian. Even when he was knocked down for the second time he still tried to get up and was desperate to carry on. It was just that his body wouldn't let him.

Khan has no heart issues whatsoever. In fact his heart is one of his strongest weapons. He has no Ortiz in him...none.

I rarely agree with you, but I do on this.

With Khan, it's far more a mental issue than a heart one. Is there a symbiosis between the heart and mind in boxing? - sure, in degrees which vary depending on the individual, but what I perceive with Khan is an imbalance of fighting heart to fighting IQ.

I definitely don't see him as an Ortiz type of character, he'll hang in there to the end, or as long as his body will carry him through. His reactions to the heavy knockdowns against Prescott (you pointed them out) are typically overlooked amid the furore over the sensational manner in which he was despatched.

His ring IQ is definitely suspect, though. He looked fine drilled with a gameplan and carrying it out against a tidy, technical but slow Kotelnik, he looked superficially awesome in blowing away a cold, unready Salita in under a round - but what about if someone can frustrate him in the early going and make him think? Roach will come with contingency plans, but can Khan execute them when needed, under pressure? I'm hoping Paul can push him into that discomfort zone tonight.

Khans has better hand speed than Mosley has and Paulie doesnt have the skills of Floyd. Khan is fixin to wreck Paulie. Paulie is little more than a tune up for Amir.

I see this sentiment coming from a lot of posters on here.

Khan was taken the distance by Kotelnik (who I believe Paul is better, and will bring more to the table, than).

In between then and now, all he's done is blow away Salita.

Are you guys all just that convinced of Khan's constantly accelerating improvement under Roach, that you can be sure he's now a quantum leap ahead of where he was 10 months ago?
I'd understand that if you all were privvy to a significant enough amount of Khan's training/sparring to know where his development was up to - in that case, if any of you confirm as much, I'll be drilling you for details.

OR, have you all just been seduced into thinking Paul will be a cakewalk because you saw Khan blow away a cold, unseasoned Salita in a round?

                    Just askin'.

If Malignaggi tries to walk down Khan. Then Khan will outbox Malignaggi is that simple.
