    Tyson's voice is too annoying.

I say bring Meldrick Taylor in.

Well, he probably is trying not to step on the vet
        Al Bernstein's feet.

But when he does say something, he makes it count.

I disagree that he's not impressive: to me, he's rapidly
improved and has the right approach to the job.

To each his own -- even Dan Rafael at ESPN has been
raving about Tarver's work, so he has been impressing a
few people in the boxing world.

I think the knock on Jones was that he didnt need to be at the "meetings" so he can practice how to talk about boxing. I think that's how he fell out with HBO. I could be wrong.

Tarver is very good, he isn't there to be a traditional broadcaster, but he's well spoken and speaks intelligently for the most part. That is a tough job for anyone who doesn't have broadcast training. Tyson would be great in my opinion, but he's libel to knock out the camera if it gets to close.

That is exactly what happened. Roy felt as if he didn't need to show up to the production meetings.

                      Meldrick can hardly speak anymore.
