I doubt they'll bring back RJJ. Wasn't he fired?

I have to wonder if Lewis was fired as well and often is the case companies give the higher profile employees the other of "giving notice" to save face. I could be wrong but it's not like he was a great commentator where the idea of him being let go isn't totally out of the question.

He LOVED the big punches, every time.

Classic example is Hopkins vs Tito. It's like round 10, hopkins is putting on a masterful performance, tito is getting owned, and foremans like, "no jim, I can tell hopkins legs are getting tired! he better watch out now! Tito has him where he wants him"

lol, that was a terrible job in that fight. I think even Merchant had to to tell him to start giving credit to Hopkins.

Maybe Ronnie Nathanielsz could fit in well with the HBO crew?

No, they weren't shooting in HD back on '01. I got a very good copy, pre-fight, national anthem, post-fight, etc. PM me if you need it.

WOW! Has it honestly been 4 years already? Is that accurate? It feels like he just got on and is still learning the job. He is that f**kin terrible. One of the worst commentators I've ever heard in my life where I wanted to hit MUTE everytime I could sense his voice about to rise through my speakers. This is the best move HBO wasn't even involved in. Maybe he watched one of his commentated bouts and thought, god damn! I suck at this ****!

Great news, glad to here it he was terrible. Now if we could get Showtime to get rid of Gus Johnson that would help the sport out alot.

I need the return of Big George or Roy. Whoever it is, it needs to be a boxer (former or current). I wish Lennox well, and I thought he did a good job overall.
