  • They should replace him with Teddy Atlas, but I don't think Atlas gets along with Kellerman.

They need another guy for Boxing After Dark with Papa and Kellerman. Besides, Lennox never did a broadcast with Lampley, Steward, AND Merchant/Kellerman. It's always a three man broadcast.

        • interesting, dont you think the commentry is rubbish though! hbo is the best imo...over here in the uk its pretty dire, i like the colonel sheridan, by far the most passionate, and concentrates on talking about whats happening in the fight, rather than ****** statistics that mean little. i watched the froch aa fight on showtime afterwards, see what it looked like for you americans, and I thought that commentry was the worst I had ever heard by a country mile, they were chatting about froch having a baby whilst exchanges were happenin, i was like, ****ing hell this is shoddy!

Yes, you are correct, he was absenting himself from the meetings, and after they complained about it, the very next meeting, he missed also. That was the finish for him.

As for Lewis, I've read a report that his contract had expired, and they did NOT ask him to stay, in effect they were firing him.

And damn well about time too. He was almost too much to bear.
