Would you bash Floyd if he decided to fight Martinez for the belts at a 158 catch?

yes but Floyd fights guys at the official weight or ducks them, that's better than draining opponents imo. He didn't ask DLH to fight at 150. just saying.

160 or no titles. I'm not into this whole catchweight thing tbh.

Sorry but trying to spin that a career 154 fighter would struggle to make 158 is bull****. Especially since the fighter only came to 160 on short notice.

Yeah, and the Pacquiao fans do not mind weight draining an opponent (Cotto lost, I am fine with that...this ain't about that...I hate catchweights, but of course Pacquiao fanatics will refuse to see that and only see what they want to see), but they certainly don't want him submitting blood for OST. No, that would be a cardinal sin!

martinez can make 160 if he wants, but floyd doesn't have to make 160, he can come in at 155 or 156 lbs

That's not the point though. If Mayweather fought and beat Martinez anywhere between 154lbs and 159lbs then that's a great achievement and all but he wouldn't have earned the middleweight titles that could potentially be on the line. He wouldn't have ever even fought in the middleweight division! I can't see him sticking around anywhere above welterweight either.

Thank you. Catchweights are crap. For titles, untenable, imo. I like Floyd, but if he pushes for this catchweight BS I will lose a lot of respect for him. He already did that to Marquez. I did not like it, but I forgave him for it. If he does it to Martinez I am done.
