Manny has proven himself against technically sound fighters, and recently over Cotto, and Clotty. You cant take that away from him. It will be interesting to see, how Floyd will time his punches against a south paw, who darts side to side, in and out.

Zab was probably the fastest fighter that Mayweather has faced, simple as that. Manny hasn't faced anyone with handspeed as fast as Zab.
PAC spars with Amir Khan, yes, it's not an actual fight, but they still rely on their speed, the same speed they will need for a fight.

Amir's speed is comparable to Zab's.

This makes no sense whatsoever. Zab's loss to Baldomir says nothing about his handspeed, which he does possess. Speed isn't the only way to win fights.

lets be honest...I like Pacman...one of my favorite fighters

but I think Bob Arum has done a wonderful job building this guy UP to what he is today and a great job giving him opponents who will not move around a lot so Pacman can put on a show and possible knock them out, that is why he gives Pacman Flat Footed Fighters who may have a little Hand Speed but they are not going to move around much and have ABSOLUTELY NO DEFENSE! and even when fighting someone with Defense like Clottey, Clottey is still Flat Footed and he doesn't move AT ALL

why didn't he fight someone like Paulie Malignaggi who talked a lot of **** about Pacman in the past, WAY MORE then Mayweather has, why didn't they fight him? because Paulie has good FOOTWORK, it was rumored that Pacman was going to move up and fight Yuri Foreman but I guess they didn't know what type of fighter Yuri was until the seen videos of him, he also is very slick and has good footwork

all of this is NOT A Coincidence! Just Smart Promotion On Bob Arum's Part!

It's racial because conveniently all the fighters that get labled as fast fighters are all black. Again Barrera outboxing and befuddling a very very fast and slick Hamed goes to show you just how fast his hand were. And yes Shane was fast but he wasn't exactly beating world beaters at LW either. None of those fighters were everin Barrera, Marquez, or Morales league.

It has nothing to do with race. You ever heard of Hector Camacho? One of the fastest boxers I have ever seen. So stop with the race stuff. Its about how FAST your hands are..NOT what color they are.

There are probably better examples that you could use than Malignaggi. No one really wanted to see that fight after Malignaggi lost to Hatton, who was flattened by Pacquiao in 2 rounds.
