It has nothing to do with race. You ever heard of Hector Camacho? One of the fastest boxers I have ever seen. So stop with the race stuff. Its about how FAST your hands are..NOT what color they are.

And thats exactly what I'm talking about he never gets mentioned when it comes to fighters with great handspeed. And the thing is how fast was he when he got dominated by the flat footed slow punching Chavez? Again my point is not so much race but style, just because you are slick doesn't mean you're fast and just because you fight in a traditional stance doesn't mean you are slow either. I'm not being racist, but I am making the observation that it's a bit racist in itself to only consider black slickster fighters as the only fast fighters in the world.

I'd say that Barrera had to have atleast above average handspeed in order to land the combinations that he did. Of course he doesn't really belong in discussions about the fastest fighters ever, the Pacquiao fight clearly displayed that.

Dude, what the hell are you talking about? You said Zab Judah doesn't have handspeed because he lost to Baldomir. That makes no sense and is completely untrue. The faster fighter doesn't always win. The title of the thread is "who has Pac faced who has fast hands." An interesting question which you answer by saying Floyd has never fought anyone with fast hands because the guys he fought have lost to fighters that were slower.

It does when he was beating him to the punch over and over again and your opponent has blinding speed. What your not understanding is that good technical boxing requires good hand and foot speed period. How the *** else are you gonna be a good technical boxer when you have no Foot or handspeed. Name one slow plodding fighter that turned out to be a good technical boxer and not a face first slugger.

You're flip flopping all over the place. If you had said that originally, I'd have no quarrel with your post. You said "how fast can you be when you lose to a plodding guy like Baldomir." Basically discrediting his speed.

Barrera,Morales, and Marquez had stopped fighting like brawlers longe before they fought Pac. Especially barrera (who boxed late and his career) and Marquez (who was never a brawler to begin with).

And Nate Cambell is actually getting mentioned here? On what grounds? His win against the Immortal Juan Diaz?

I could see that argument if Pac had went on to fight lesser opponents but if you are trying to say Nate was a bigger challange than Oscar,Cotto, and Hatton because he's black and slick then wow you are dillusional.
