That's like Cotto beating Foreman and than people giving him **** for not fighting Williams or Kirkland.

You're holding Floyd up to unfair standards.
Appaerantly you didn't follow shane's career much. He was just a good fighter at 154. He only threw 1-2 punch combos and was outsized. Obviously shane's best weights are 135 and 147.

Lets say agree with your post. What about Cotto or forrest?

And that wasnt the point. The point is that the guys Mosley lost to are bettter than anybody on Floyds resume
Yea man, he CAN fight Oscar and not Winky. He went up to 154 for a 6th weight class and a huge money fight against Oscar. He had no plans on campaigning at 154, nor should he have.

And if you remember, Floyd was just moving up to 140 from 135 when Vernon was moving from 147 to 154, both in mid 2003.

And I disagree that the guys Mosley lost to are better than anyone on Floyd's resume. Mosley is a bigger guy for gods sake. The verisons of Castillo and Corrales Floyd faced are jnearly as good on the resume as Forrest, Wright, and Cotto.

And you're not giving Floyd enough credit for the Oscar win. That was a game Oscar at his weight.

Winky isn't higher than Corrales...and probably not Castillo either...and with all due respect Vernon's resume isn't off the wall either...well then again you guys are counting losses as well...

He was way more fit to fight at 154 than Floyd. Although I agree that 154 was certainly not Shane's best weight.

Give me a break.Oscar wasa shell of his former self.I can name a bunch of fighters who have better resumes then Mayweather.Mayweather will always be a fraud.Oscar De La Hoya wasnt my favorite fighter but the guy took on all challengers.Floyd is a fraud.

They are about even but since Floyd ran off his undefeated and much more impressively, I'd give him the edge.

                  Negative savor.

Corrales was a slam dunk for floyd style wise. He never turned out to be more than a slugger. Vernon was all the way wrong for Shane, yet shane still fought him and had worthy efforts. Winky was is and always will be a pfp better fighter than castillo and corralles will ever be.

Floyd gets ,imi,a; credit for that win. I think Shne's wins over Vargas are more impressive than Floyd's win over an oscar that went life and death with forbes right after.

He was a slam dunk style wise? No one thought Floyd would win that fight.

You know that Oscar beat Vargas right?

He also did not go life and death Forbes man...lol. He arguably shut him out. That fight was also a year later at 150 Pounds.

What are you basing this on? Is it Floyd's arm length? Is it because Floyd started one wieght class lower than Shane?
I would like to know your criteria to determine that FLoyd is less cacpable of fighting at 154 than shane.
