You must of watched a different fight than the rest of us because Cintron won that fight easily.

The last few rounds Angulo was catching Cintron more, and hurt him a few times in rounds 11 or 12, watch it again, it was FAR from easy.

i actually think he has a fair chance at cotto. i think a margarito fight would be a great brawl while it lasts. i think margarito has a better chance than cotto. we haven't seen cotto at 154 yet, and he can only dodge punches for so long.

Angulo has no defense at all, he takes all the shots..& with a fighter that moves & pots shot all night(like Cintron did)he doesn't stand a chance..Julio was doing exactly that in the beginning, except he wasn't attacking the body..But the problem with Julio is he can't take pressure & a fighter that keeps putting pressure on Julio, sooner or later Julio is gonna fold like a taco(& he did against Angulo, especially after that right punch to the jaw)....Angulo doesn't stand a chance against the elite fighters of that division...Even thou it i'll be a good fight I'm sure Cotto will beat him...Against Margarito it will be a slug fest & see who could give & take the most..I think Margarito with his experience will also beat him...

Can't blame shaw wanting to line his pockets , have to see which cotto shows up this June , but then again hard to really gauge how he would look like at 154 since he after all going to go against foreman, plus the added extra positive emotion from it being in Yankees stadium in his basically home away from home and for a chance at a 3rd division belt.

so when a guy is holding and hugging the last rounds and literally running for his life getting hit with good shots. And can't even climb the ropes on his own because he was all gassed out nearly closed to being drop down is an easy fight then based on your theory cotto beat clottey easily lmaol. He won in the scorecards comfortably but physically he barely made it to the end of the final bell.

So you mean to tell me cotto has mayweathers defense lol. This is the guy that got hit with nearly everything pac and clottey threw and got hit way to much by margarito. The thing is both fighters cotto and angulo get hit alot but out of the 2 angulo is a stronger puncher with a far way better chin than cottos glass jaw. Man i hope this fight gets made so angulo can send cotto into retirement for he me he has taken far too much punishment already. Lastly not to mention cotto cant move and box all night long, he doesn't have the stamina and can't handle the pressure. You are talking about a cotto that we have never seen if that was cotto then I will understand but he can't handle pressure, can't box all fight he gases out, he don't have good defense and lastly he has a glass chin.

This is very true. Boxing is a marathon not a sprint, Angulo has excellent conditioning and can go the distance. I think Cotto beats Angulo at this stage because of his superior boxing skill, even though it would be a very tough bloody fight for him.

Martinez beats Angulo as well with his speed and quickness and he can also take a good shot.

Margarito vs Angulo has GREAT FIGHT written all over it but we don't know which Marg is there after the year + layoff.

Angulo is still young and still has time to learn. He's a good boxer and has very good fundamentals.

Let's hope that Gary shaw takes his time with Angulo, he still has less than 20 fights and already fought 2 very good fighters in Julio and Cintron.

how can cotto have a glass jaw when your boy tony couldnt knock him out with those bricks in his handwraps and pacquiao was the only person 2 drop him at 147. torres droped him at 140 but he also threw him down at the same time a little bit. he gets hurt because his defense sucks but its not fair 2 say his jaw is glassy when hes only been done 3x in his life. angulo is a tough customer but every1 said the same thing about tony and his chin and look what happened 2 him vs mosley, his chin was destroyed. atleast cotto never got ktfo like that. all 3x hes gotten up.

angulo is a raw animal, needs some touching up but him vs margarito would be the war of wars. idk about tony though, i question how legit his career has been since the mosley incident. i think hes been doin that 4 a while and used it vs cotto. but cant proove it and when u think about his style is the perfect style for cotto so i can see how he did what he did 2 him. i just have a hard time dealin with wether he cheated or not.
