On the pacquiao fight i was going and thinking cotto would put an ass beating on pacquiao but I always said hope his chin could stands pacquiaos punches if they do he will be ok but after seeing the first knockdown i knew his weak chin and prior punishment would not help him last the whole night. Now imagine Angulo who is way stronger than pacquiao and fighting him on his weight 154 as far as wee seen from his chin he won't be able to stand to those punches. Only thing cotto has going for him is his experience something angulo still needs and his boxing ability is ok he is not an exceptional boxer he makes to many mistakes pac was able to exploit that as well as judah early on the fight.

I didn't say he "can't" box backwards, he obviously can but he is not as effective as when he walks down his opponents and chops them down like he has in the past. Cotto's power comes from the huge torque he uses when he plants his feet well and digs in those body shots, prime Cotto was a great example of this, body, body, head, all hooks, it was nasty to see. Angulo is bigger than Cotto and he's a stalker like Tony plus he is prime right now and fresher than Cotto is at this point on his career, plus the fact he is just moving up to 154 lbs, but this weight is Perro's turf so I really don't see Miguel winning, he will have his moments and will more than likely win the first half of the fight by just outboxing Angulo but like in the Margarito fight he will get worn out, plus I think Angulo has more of a KO punch than Tony, can you imagine Angulo landing a big right or left hook like he did against Julio and Yorgey on Cotto's chin? real talk playa.

Ive seen Angulos last 4 maybe 5 fights..nothing ive seen tells me he's capable of beating Cotto..i think u guys are just counting Cotto out cuz everybody seems to think he's done..Angulo has next to no technical boxing skills..his defense is lacking and he's slow..Cotto would beat him any day of the week.It would be a hard tough fight but not like the Rito or Clottey fight..Cotto beats Angulo tho.


Plus Angulo throws very sloppy and sits on his punches..Cotto would capitalize on those mistakes easily and frequently.
