You either have heart or you don't. Sort of like having a great chin, nothing you can do to improve it. Tyson never had heart. Not last night, not in '92 and not in '88. How in the world can someone without heart hope to FIGHT any of the all time greats? I highlighted "Fight" because that is what it would be. Dempsey, Marciano, Ali, Foreman etc. would not be afraid of Tyson and would be there to fight. Tyson has absolutley NO fighting skills. He can beat up on people who let him and that's it. I'm not sure where Tyson ranks all time because he is low enough that it doesn't matter. Where does Leon Spinks rank all time? Same thing.

The '80's were a better decade than the '70's for heavyweights? You gotta be high. Tucker, Page, Berbick etc. et al would have been journeymen in the '70's. None of them give Frazier, Ali, Foreman, Holmes and even Norton a hard time. Quarry, Chuvalo and Shavers would beat most of them as well.

    Lemme see, Frazier-Ali I, Frazier-Foreman, Foreman-Norton, Foreman-Ali, Ali-Norton I, II and III, Ali-Frazier III, Holmes-Norton, Holmes-Shavers, Ali-Shavers and Foreman-Lyle were great memorable fights. Sorry but the '80's don't have anything on that.

i agree with juyjuy.. tysons combinations and handspeed was awesome..it was above all hv of all time..he was much more skills than frazier, foreman, holyfield, lewis, holmes bacsically any hv...he would be considered one of the gretest near to ali if he had stop after betting spinks.. i think he was far and far away from his prime sens cus died.. yes he had much bigger fights and paycheck.. but his skills or mind was obviously not as it use to.. just watch the greastest of mike tyson.. his voice and way to talk was much clearer and smarter than after he left catskill..

Tyson Will Be Considered One Of The Best Ever...no Heavyweight Did What He Did...everyone Talks About The Old Fighters Like Marciano And Dempsey Etc...boxing Is Totally Different Then Back Then..fighters Today Are Built For The Sport..they Are Stronger, healthier And Faster...no "cinderella Man" Can Exist In This Time...tyson Had Better Competition And Power Then The Old Farts From The Past,,,i Hate It When People Talk About Those Old Farts As If They Were Something Special...they Can Never Leave The Past ...that Is Why Espn Only Shows Fights Frm The 20's To The 40's....pure Bs.....

i dont kno where u would rank him, ranks are dumb but u cant deny that Tyson woulda gave any all time great fits, maybe even beating some of them, anyone can beat anyone on any givin night, Like I do think Tyson would beat Marciano, Lennox, It would be a awsome fight with Fraizer.. I have him in my top 10.

Tyson never quit in his prime, so u kno allot, he quit last night cuz he simply just dont give a ****, he said he hates boxing now, so who cares if he gave up in 2005 we are talkin bout tyson from 1985-1997 after that he was not himself in the ring.
