Kessler couldn't see Ward for most of the fight due to the cuts opened by the headbutts, Ward still didn't come close to stopping him.

I actually think Kessler might not be the same fighter after Froch, that was a true war. Froch might be damaged goods now too.

Froch, damaged goods? I don't think so. Froch is getting better and better IMO.

He really didn't take that many big headshots (few good right hands) at all and he also wasn't being thrown around by shots in exhaustion the way Kessler was.

With referees enforcing the rules he can go all the way baby.

I thought the same thing until I saw the Froch fight. I figured Kessler just wouldn't have the confidence to gut out a win if things got rough. He showed he's still game.

It seemed a lil more hesitant and tentitive early in the Froch fight, but as it went on he seemed to be getting his confidence back slowly, so i wouldn't say he's done just yet. Not to mention, taking that win musta boosted his confidence big time.

You'd be fooling yourself if you think the fouls were the reason Kessler lost the Ward fight. He lost because of his footwork. Very correct but only knows back and forward. I was looking at this in the Froch fight too. Kessler is so linear he has trouble turning his body to even throw a left hook, it comes out a slap. He needs to spar people who will circle him all day and have him not "reset" because that's what he does, he resets and then comes in in a linear fashion again.

Kessler's too damn stationary. He moves frton, back, and side to side. Guy's gotta learn to circle and cur corners...people act as if Ward beat him because of the headbutts...after watching that fight numerous times, I can safley say Ward beat him by outboxing him and not because of the ACCIDENTAL headbutts.
