I agree with the mannerisms thing but I don't think it was because he felt he was beaten by a better fighter. I think he thought he was going to get robbed of his title by decision by a fighter that ran away from him and refuse to engage for 10 rounds.

I dont think Ward ruined him because he did not look particularly good in his warm fight before the Ward fight, fueling speculation that he might be past his best already, that said if Ward DID ruin him then i would suggest it would be more mental than physical.
