honestly i would bet some real cash on Berto......you would prob get 5:1 by fight night if he was facing Pac......maybe even 6:1...........

Not to be funny but your better of just donating your money to charity if that's the case. There is nothing in berto's game that suggest he can beat Pac. People say they don't wanna see Pac vs a face first brawler (what ever the **** that means) but honestly Berto will be coming forward and trying to brawl more than any opponent Pac has faced in a long time.

Berto comes forward more than Cotto, Oscar, Diaz, Barrera etc. The only opponents that brawl/come forward more than him were Morales and Hatton...so I don't get why people keep screaming for a Berto vs Pac fight.

Pacquiao's legs give him better defense over Berto. He can hit you and then dash out of harms way against fighters without sharp reflexes, but in the pocket Berto has superior defense. If they ever fought, it won't be on the inside so...

Example is against Marquez. Pacquaio on the inside loses every exchange, but on the outside his foot speed keeps him safe. Against Diaz, Hatton, and Oscar, he could do almost anything he wanted due to them being horrible fighters. (due to Oscar's weight, Hatton's chin, and Diaz's skills)

Berto is not a good inside fighter. He has no inside game. That is why he clinches all the damn time. JMM is light years beyond Berto in the inside. Matter of fact JMM is level above Berto in offensive arsenal, counter punching, and IQ than Berto. And, JMM has a better chin then Berto....

There is nothing that Berto does that is better than Pac. The only thing he does better is clinching that is it...

No way Berto wins this fight now... Maybe if he hires Atlas or even Floyd Sr and a couple years he could be ready. But, right now Berto is not threat to Pacquiao.

Pac's a better fighter. I'd bet he'd beat Berto. But I wouldn't bet my house on it. Call me crazy, but I have my su****ions about Pac's chin. I'm just not sure if he can take a average or better yet above average number of punches from a Welterweight. I can count the times Clottey landed on two hands (near literally), but Pac's face showed a surprising amount of damage. Pac would be at a hand speed, size, and perhaps power disadvantage vs Berto. Again, I'd figure Pac would take Berto out, but it would interesting to see Pac take a full power uppercut from Berto. Pac would win, but it would be more of a fight than Pac vs Clottey or Cotto. But I think Pac should face Bradley outta anyone else out there beside Floyd.
