I get your point though, Berto has a lot to improve. Siggy suggested Teddy Atlas and that may be a good fit. He needs to change trainers this year no matter who it is though. And if anyone would put their house down that Pac beats Berto they have ******** problems.

But, would you bet your house that Berto would beat Pac? Be a man about it and give me an honest answer.
I don't watch enough of Berto to know what he can or can't do. He arguably lost to Collazo, so I wouldn't ever lay money on him to beat Pacquiao, especially without WADA drug testing.

Imhot come on who did Berto fight at 154? You going to use Forbes who was a feather fisted puncher at 130 as an example of how good Berto D is? Forbes would not even be a top 20 WW.

Look at Pac D against Diaz, Hatton, and Oscar. Just look at those 3 examples to see how good Pac D is. But, that is a horrible example I am giving you right? Because, of the level of comp. Do you see where I am going with this?

Bro, Berto does not have better defense than Pac. He could become a better defensive fighter if he gets a better trainer. But, as of right now he does not have a better D then Pac.

Defensively Pac is better than Berto right now. Ya'll can have ya'll little racist hatred all you want. But, Berto ain't fucking with Pac in any way shape or form

FWIW....I actually like Berto and I feel that in a few years he may rule 147. I just hate to see talented fighters get ruined, which is why I wouldn't want to see him fight Floyd, Shane or Pac right now.

his chin is more about conditioning......i think he has a good chin....but he balloons too much btw fights and makes himself weak cause he is training to cut weight....reducing his punch resistance....prob why he is flat sometimes in fights aswell..........the only fighter i ever saw who's chin was still iron after being dehydrated to make weigh is James Toney......

What problem will Berto cause Pac?

When Pac lands how is Berto going to take it?

No way Berto wins this fight now... Maybe if he hires Atlas or even Floyd Sr and a couple years he could be ready. But, right now Berto is not threat to Pacquiao.

Thanks for the link man. I agree, he does need to change his trainer but those two seem to get along too well. It doesn't look like a trainer boxer relationship.

uppercut would be the key weapon.........apart from that i would need to go back and watch some more Berto fights to see what else........

but he generally explodes forward into the uppercut.....the best thing to do against Pac is to let him come onto it......make Pac lunge forward....step back and then throw right upper...follow with left hook, than step in with the str8 right........

Pacquiao's legs give him better defense over Berto. He can hit you and then dash out of harms way against fighters without sharp reflexes, but in the pocket Berto has superior defense. If they ever fought, it won't be on the inside so...

Example is against Marquez. Pacquaio on the inside loses every exchange, but on the outside his foot speed keeps him safe. Against Diaz, Hatton, and Oscar, he could do almost anything he wanted due to them being horrible fighters. (due to Oscar's weight, Hatton's chin, and Diaz's skills)
