Some interesting facts in there, i am a floyd fan but i wouldnt mind seeing him lose, i think it would make him far more dangerous and more willing to take on anyone without concesions whether they are ridiculous or not (drug tests, moving up 2 weight classes etc.)

I think another active elite fighter who lost there debut was juan manuel marquez, i think it was by dq buh cbf boxrecing it.

Boxreced it anyways lolz round 1 dq in 1993 against Javier Duran who was 1-0 at the time =]

"old Oscar and Corrales"? Man here we go again another hater who don't have knowledge of the sport. 1st off Corrales was young and undefeated when Money May spank that ass for the WBC title. 2nd when he fought Oscar it was at 154 Oscar normal weight class. and they both were in their 30's. you better check yourself 1st before coming on here saying **** you don't know. because i deal with facts.

That "0" is the first thing he goes to when he talks about how great he is (which is, ummmm... quite often).

Further proof that all of his mouthing off is just schtick. Stop talking and give me an exciting fight for the first time in half a decade!

just look at the top of most ATG lists... they mostly lean towards fighters like manny (boxer/puncher, break records, exciting fighting style, backstory, etc.)... typically, the casual fans respond to action and drama... they want a story that is compelling, and a champion that performs & meets their expectations. hardcore boxing fans give credit & appreciate great/dynamic boxers... most of them below the radar of casual fans. IMO an ATG succeeds at meeting both criteria. again, this my opinion. feel free to disagree.
the funny thing about boxing fans is they get a little too emotional about their favorite boxer... i, myself, am a fan of floyd & manny... i respect both. they are BOTH good for boxing... it all comes down to what kind of fighter one appreciates.

floyd: 5 division champion, unbeaten, defensive style
manny: 7 division champ (set the record), dramatic rise in divisions, aggressive fan-pleasing style

like i said in my previous post, neither should be mentioned ATG... they both need to retire, and their careers need to be reflected upon. but my opinion is that ON PAPER, pacquiao would edge floyd in achievements. but dont worry, if floyd beats shane then goes on to beat manny, rest assured, he gets first dibs on ATG status. LOL.
