why is roger telling shane & co the tactics he should be using, they prob already know these things but still it just gives confirmation on itComment

Roger is just saying outright because he knows Shane has no jab and cannot develop one over night. Though, he might be able to out muscle Floyd into the corners but it won't for very long, Floyd has very quick feet.Comment

It's not like he is telling us anything we don't already know. In order to get in on Floyd you must have a long and consistent jab, actually having the ability to employ it is another story. It's as if Roger is saying yes here is the blueprint but who has the ability to execute it?
One advantage Floyd has and it's overlooked, is that he doesn't know what it feels like to lose, when you've never been defeated or knocked out, losing doesn't enter your mind and you react instinctively which is what makes him great, like a young Roy Jones however, I bet the house that if Floyd ever catches an L, it will do a number on his psyche. The man covets that "O", more than he covets competing at welterweight.Last edited by switchsouthpaw; 04-13-2010, 11:02 AM.Comment

This is all a plan to make him come in with the jab, they must have a new tactic on avoiding and countering that jab..but ****m is smarter than that watch!!!!!!Shane will use 50 tactics, plan a ,b and c.......and not go for the ko but beat his body!!!!i'm confident in ****m richardsonComment

I think there is a better chance that they'd rather he NOT come in with the jab. Read what he said again.

It's not a trap that Roger is setting for Mosley, he is speaking the truth in this case, which is rare even for him. The jab is the only way to unlocking that box (shoulder roll), except not all jabs work on the lock, damn near takes a skeleton key.

Hey Switch, good to see you back...It's not like he is telling us anything we don't already know. I agree with you about the psyche, but I also think Floyd will never ever admit defeat unless he's knocked out cold.. which doesn't seem to be a very likely senerio IMO. So, if his loss is due to a decision I just don't ever see him conceeding defeat. Do you remember seeing his face when they were reading the split decision score against ODH? Also, it seems like judges don't like to take away a "0" record for an established fighter, so it's my guess that it will be tough for anyone to defeat FMJ by decision unless it is in a very, very decisive manner.Comment
