So because he was in a tough fight he isn't supposed to get his shot at Manny? I know many Pac fans have only been a fan for a few years, but he ins't above reproach. He was ko'd by Medgoen Singsurat and Rustico Torrecampo, both times in the 3rd round; and he has a draw with Agapito Sánchez. On top of that, in my opinion, he lost to JMM twice.

ROFL @ people that think Manny is still the same fighter that fought JMM. That's just hilarious. Let's also forget he was struggling to make the 130lbs weight for the final JMM and still pulled off the win despite not being as complete back then as he is now. I honestly think Cotto was a tougher fight than Manny would ever get with Fraud. Cotto can trade, fight on the backfoot, put pressure, and is a big WW. So Fraud's gonna potshot his way to a victory against Manny? Trade with him? Attempt to outpunch him? How do you honestly think he's gonna win? Counter punch Manny's 1 punch at a time? lol...Manny will make Fraud look so bad before he KO's him out cold.

          2. Well this is my point, instead of others (I'm not saying you) using the frame slick fighters....they should just say Floyd Mayweather. It seems this whole slick fighter b.s. is short of Manny should fight Floyd. If so, I wish people would be direct with it instead of hiding behind the "Slick fighter" phrase.

The Cotto fight did a little to change that as that video in the other thread shows, landing solid lefts and moving to Cotto's side, out of danger. But then he goes in against Clottey and shows the complete opposite of what's he's done in the Delahoya, Hatton, Cotto fights, and that's the ability to stay busy non-stop if you give him a defensive target.

Simply put, Mayweather better be on his best, better not be relaxed like he was against JMM, styles make fights and JMM's counterpunching ways weren't the answer.

Because Pac will put the same type of pressure that Hatton put on Floyd, minus the vulnerabilty to get as easly countered as Hatton was, because unlike Hatton, who had great footspeed BUT terrible hand-coordination.....Pacquiao won't be LUNGING in like Hatton. But he sure will put a job on Floyd if Money relaxes up against the ropes too many times during the 3 minture span, and will steal many, many rounds.

The way Floyd handles Mosley will tell us a bit about he would do against Pac, because this is his first fast-handed fighter in a while. Judah was years ago, and Judah's stamina ****** down the stretch, something that MOsley & Pacquiao don't have a problem with.

With Cotto to be fair that was a Post Marg Cotto. And with Clottey the guy literally just stood there of course hed look great against him.

            Now..

With Mayweather completely different creature. Pac has foot speed, sure. But Floyd has a lighting fast jab and right hand that will gain Pacs respect and keep him at bay,. He also has ****** long arms. Pac will have to sell out to get in and if that happens he will take some shots before Floyd grabs him and ties him up. Something Pac hasnt experienced yet. Floyd will clinch him alot because hes the better inside fighter and the stronger fighter.

He beat Judah because he stalked Judah and didnt miss him. He got tired quick because of the body work Floyd put in through out the fight. It made Judah hesitant to throw. Floyd also has the straight right hand that Pac has no answers for.

Well that if Funeka was able to land at will, what makes you think Pac (who is alot faster) wont. Not only that but Funeka was landed basic one two on Guzman so imagine a guy like Pacquiao would will not only do that but him a ton of angles.

So anytime Pacquiao gets hit its because he was getting complacent? Again Pac is a sucker for the right hand and its something i have notice watching him over a number of years.

What does any of that have to do with Manny fighting slick fighters? In all honestly would you throw Guzman in with Pac right now? I sure as hell wouldn't along with anyone who gives one ounce of a damn about his health and well being.

Well Pacquiao isnt a tall fighter like Funeka and Pac is a southpaw, Yes Pac can certainly land on guzman but the height advantage in the Funeka fight makes the Pac comparism look a bit out for me.

Now i get why people are using Guzman in comparism to Mayweather..Not Funeka in comparism to Pac.
