Ricky Hatton... NOW he can fight in the US

He hit him behind the head all night..to the point that KT started doing it too. I dont have to watch it again to know that..besides, I dont have the stomach to watch it again.

The original quote that I was responding to was "the worse offense I suppose was when he spun KT around in a circle and then hit him behind the head repeatedly". This implies that the repeated hitting behind the head was directly after the spin. That's what I was responding to.

The rest of it, I could excuse... when fighters are getting in that close, if someone throws a hook and the other fighter ducks down from it, they're going to get accidentally clipped.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. Hatton fought dirty as hell, and thats why he won. That is just the way I see it and will always remember it.

I wasn't referring to him fighting dirty in the paragraph you're responding to here. I was referring to your suggestion he was using the referee for his own ends, or that the referee was biased.

Lets see Ricky move up in weight and try his hand at Zab Judah.....then we will really see what he is made of.

Hatton would KO Judah in one. It would hardly prove what "he is made of" to knock out that guy. If Tzyu's punches were not hurting Hatton well than Judah certainly would not either. Gatti has a much better chance to beat Hatton than Judah.

It's not sour g****s for me..I'm just posting what I saw. I've never seen a dirtier fighter than Hatton that night. NOthing more or less than that.

I reckon it would take a boxer to take out Hatton. (Don't get me wrong, I know Zoo was a quality boxer, but he started to be a brawler that night).

Gatti is supceptible to body shots. Hatton's biggest weapon is the body shot. I wouldn't give Gatti much chance there, as much I like Gatti.

Gatti's left hook the body is harder than Hatton's body punches. Hatton body punches are only effective because of his high workrate. Hatton has a pretty good punch but overall Gatti hits harder, they both have good chins but Gatti's is probably a little bit better. Plus Gatti has a better jab than Hatton . Hatton's best attributes are his stamina and chin. Gatti best attributes are his punching power and chin, his defence is crap, but he could outwar Hatton IMO.

Anybody with a weak chin like Zab Judah will get knocked out by Hatton.

I disagree, I think Zoo was just as guilty, but it seems like you don't wish to continue to back up these statements, and I don't want to feel like I'm hounding you, so I'll let the debate rest.
