Anyone else hate Hopkins?

Part of the reason I like hopkins so much is because everyone else hates him.

Notice how 4 out of the 7 of those wins are guys coming up in weight also, Winky/Oscar/Tito also happen to be the biggest names on the resume. Tarver/Johnson are both good fighters but not exceptional, Joppy is a decent fighter at best. Hopkins resume really isn't that great, i hate his antics and i hate his annoying fans who champion him as some fantastic atg and also over Jones and Calzaghe.

Hopkins is way below Jones, who spent his entire career fighting naturally bigger men

HOPKINS: People want to me to go up to 190 pounds to fight "superman" and be basically a sacrificial lamb but these same people will do their best to keep Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosley, and Ricardo Mayorga among a few, away from me. Why don't these people want those guys to fight me?

David Reids people were trying to schedule a fight with Bernard and it could have happened if Reid would have won his last fight. I'm glad it never happened.

yes he did and he admits he prob shouldve been lightweight a lil sooner than he was...but looken at his fights since Tarver..really only Winky had to do any weight changing to fight him..Hop himself flucuated and made some catch weights i believe

he was not ready at all and honestly i felt Hop won tht fight..lol no arguments tho i also see how people couldve scored it for Taylor...i jus felt HBO no matter what was going to give tht to Taylor they spent lots of time,money, and hype for him to get beat..but thats why they let him fight Hop...chance of getting kayoed was slim so a decision was pretty much inevitable...knew that hop fights slow..so haven the judges score it a lil off was easy...

but back to the subject of this thread hopkins is boring as hell, fouls up a storm and fakes fouls for the whole 5 minutes. boxing is better without him right now IMO

lol i'm def white....but i understand how and why people think Bernard is boring...i disagree as i'm a what i'd call smart fighter and i think Hop is that..does what he must to get the W for himself not the ok from fans..its a personal style preferance..but i def get the hating on Hop

I wanted Jones to win last Saturday, but things have still worked out for the best. Hopkins is finished, he wont get anymore fights after that shocking performance.
