Im going by what they achieved in the divisons they fought Calzaghe and Hopkins in. Lacey's best win at smw before facing Calzaghe was Reid, Tito's best win was Joppy, more than equivalent. After losing to Hopkins/Calzaghe neither fighter did much at that weight class.

I respect what he has done for the sport and he is a certified top 75 ATG. I don't like his attitude and how he is so close minded. I am fortunate to go to many events live with floor seats. 1 time Bhop sat 2 rows ahead of me. Before any of the fights started I walked up there and said Hi BHop its a honor to meet a legend do you mind signing my boxing gloves. He didnt even look at me. The guy next to him said Mr. Hopkins isn't talking to the public now. Thank god Chris Byrd was sitting next to him with his wife and was more than happy to sign my gloves and save me from a dis moment. That is why I want Bhop to get KTFO in every fight. I still give him mad props for his boxing skills. But he is still a ASSHOL3

With so many belts around it is only a matter of time before a weak fighter gets a belt. Who you actually beat to get the belt has to be taken into account as well.

i kinda get tired of hearen well he fought this guy at this weight wich isnt his natural weight blah blah blah...i'm not tryna diss you here at all i understand the point..but a weight class or two up or down really isnt that big a deal specially moving up as most pros walk around up to 20lbs heavier than fight weight anyway...it can b used as an argument but i dont feel its a good argument ever just a cop out...and far as sayen they fought a shot fighter well arguments can b made there as well...like Jones jr we can say was shot b4 the fight...but so many times the fighter wasnt labeled "shot" till after one fight cant blame a guy for whoopen someone who was labeled good b4 the fight then shot after thats not cool

Just because you are dominant in one weight class doesn't automaticaly make you dominant in another, take Hatton for example at lww. If he moved up would he be dominant at ww? The chances are highly unlikely, Mayweather, Margarito, Clottey, Mosley etc blast him out. Naturally bigger guys who can take his punches, but pack the power to hurt him.

Most fighters do walk around heavier that is true, but thats because they are overweight: Hatton, Toney etc.
