NO cause later on you are gonna use the excuse how he is the smaller man. Don't forget when he made a few fighters come down in weight. It is not right cause you favor him. It is what it is. I have never heard that he was drained for a fight.

no he wasn't, pac was still a prodominantly left handed fighter in that fight and his balance was not as good, now he is a much smarter fighter and he knows how to use his assets.

By Roach's own admission DLH was a dead man walking whom no longer desired to fight when he was matched up against Manny. He was literally drained and dehydrated, and this came straight from the mouth of Pacs camp.

Cotto? Again by team Pacs admission, Cotto was damaged goods who'd had his career ruined by Margarito. Did that stop them from fighting and hyping the fight? Nope.

Hatton? Again, by Team Pacs own admission, he'd been ruined by Mayweather, and was coming off a fight where he'd been brutalized by Lazcano. They still fought him and the boxing world acted as if it were a huge fight.

Clottey? Don't get me started. The man was a walking punching bag. The sad part is, based upon the shots he was landing when he decided to actually open up and throw punches, he could have possibly pulled the upset.
HOW is ANY of this pac's fault?

          Oscar picked on a lightweight..

Hatton was the man at 140

          Cotto was a dangerous bigman

Clottey was black and had a right hand..

LOL. manny makes fighters drained/punching bags.. etc..

not gonna reiterate what i already had written..

all i see are excuses that even the fighters he had beaten aren't making..

cut the hate bro.. i want to see him fight may too. downplaying pac's achievements is just silly.

he isn't just beating these fighters.. he is embarassing them..

i guess we just have to agree to disagree...

So what is Manny's biggest improvement since his balance has improved greatly?

footwork.. in and out movement (doesnt lunge in as much).. more combinations.. more patience (doesn't just throw wild punches as much as he used to)

the flaws that we see, pac already knows. he wants fighters to throw back and counter so they open up. pac capitalizes off that and catches them with punches from odd angles. why do you think cotto stopped throwing after the 4th round.. or hatton got knocked out in the 2nd.. or why clottey didnt want to throw at all... cause they hit the canvas or get put to sleep..

You fail to comprehend context. May was referring to early on in their careers, when May was fighting like a man possessed, destroying everyone placed in front of him, and Pac was getting KO'd by Rustico Torrecampo in 3 rounds. In that sense, Pac did go from ordinary to extraordinary. May wasn't talking about from 08-10.

                  you serious?

                  torrecampo lol..

pac wasnt even with roach then. remember manny went straight to the pros (no amateurs).

did you forget pac's wars with the mexican greats in the lower weight classes? after sasakul ledwaba barrera morales marquez.. people were already putting him p4p #1 and atg status.. not necessarily top 25-50 .. but atg nonetheless..

pac in the lower weights was anything BUT ordinary.. everything above 130 is icing on the cake.. and further cementing his legacy..

                  cut the hate..

Manny still lunges, takes unnecessary punches, and throws wild punches. Hell, the man threw 1200 punches in his last bout and had a low connect rate against a stationary opponent.

Pac doesn't want anyone to counter, hence the reason he wont fight a counter punching opponent. We've all bore witness to the tole counter punchers take on Pac. He doesn't like it.

Because Clottey always stops throwing punches, regardless of who he's fighting. No one expected different than what we witnessed from that fight.

Cotto and Hatton were damaged goods. Roach's words, not my own.
