The myth simple continues because that Mike Tyson phenomenon has worn off. You add that to the fact that the once recognized as, "The greatest title in the whole world", the heavyweight championship of the world has been reduced to 4 different belts and paparazzi in L.A. recognizes a little teeny bopper like Hayden Panettiere (Wlad's girl) but not Wlad and wonder who he is, and you have your answer.
I think that HW boxing did die with Mike Tyson. I follow the big HW fights, such as David Haye, sometimes a Klitschko, always bought Lennox Lewis' fights, etc.
But there is nobody in that division that is really wowing anybody. The Klitschko's are very good and IMO are unbPeatable in that division, but they lack the appeal that the fighters that we love to watch have.
I love watching Manny Pacquiao because he's lightning fast. He's in, he's out, he's throwing combo. When you're dazed on the ropes, he's going to rock you until you take a knee or you're KO'd.
I could tell you everything I love about all my favorite current fighters, but when I look at the HW division I don't feel any of that. It's a division that's dominated by fighters who really aren't that entertaining.
Not to mention many of the fighters are not in very good shape and lack a lot of athleticism.
Tyson WAS heavyweight boxing, and when he turned to **** the division took a major dive.
I don't know what it will take to turn it around, but as it is now, there really isn't anything happening in that division that I personally care to see.
Vitali Klitschko - Going down as an ATG
Wladimir Klitschko - Another ATG
David Haye - Could de-thone the Brothers Alexander Povetkin - Hasnt got his shot yet. Skilled fighter Nikolai Valuev - The dude is huge and SOME people like to watch him Ruslan Chagaev
Tomasz Adamek Chris Arreola David Tua
Now we have 9 great boxers in this division and this division is dead? There may not be no superstar like pac or may but hell I see nothing wrong with this. Its all about publicity, There simply isnt enough publicity for this division.
Now throw "THE NEXT MIKE TYSON" if there is one soon and this division is all of a sudden HUUGGGE!!!!

The K2 Brothers are better than you think. Just because they arent as fast as Pacquiao then it means the division is dead?
Mike Tyson was good but man your overrating him man. He lost to Buster Douglas .... BUSTER DOUGLAS!!!
