Is "The Heavyweight Division is Dead" a myth?

I dont see how the heavyweight division is "DEAD"

Vitali Klitschko - Going down as an ATG
    Wladimir Klitschko - Another ATG
David Haye - Could de-thone the Brothers
Alexander Povetkin - Hasnt got his shot yet. Skilled fighter
Nikolai Valuev - The dude is huge and SOME people like to watch him
    Ruslan Chagaev
    Tomasz Adamek
    Chris Arreola
    David Tua

Now we have 9 great boxers in this division and this division is dead? There may not be no superstar like pac or may but hell I see nothing wrong with this. Its all about publicity, There simply isnt enough publicity for this division.

Now throw "THE NEXT MIKE TYSON" if there is one soon and this division is all of a sudden HUUGGGE!!!!

Personally I think this division is just fine

People say it's dead because the K-bros are not convieced (especially Wladamir) as actually being that skillful. I mean look at highlights of Holmes, Tyson and Ali and you can see why people dispare when they watched Wlad poke a 205lb guy round the ring for 12 rounds. In addition, the black Americans today just cannot produce a heavyweight that is remotely in shape.

There are boxers and regular guys walking the street than some of today's heavyweight boxers. Some guys like Arreola seem to think they need the extra pounds to compete. THAT'S GARBAGE. Look at Holyfield, sure he was on steroids for a bit but on his toes, bouncing and boxing for 12 rounds was awesome to watch.

I don't think the division is bad at all at this time.

PPL were just bored because the Klitschko dominance seemed like it had no chance of ending but enough ppl think Haye has a shot so he does help in terms of keeping interest.

I think if the K2 Bros fight eachother that will bring a **** load of attention to the division.

But Vitali should be fighting a guy better than the russian dude he is slated to fight ... jezz

Anyone saying it's dead is wrong. It's just stale, because there are two fighters dominating the division with no foreseeable contenders with any real chance to beat them. And the only fight in the division that could get people really excited, Klitschko vs. Klitschko, will almost certainly never happen.

                  Agreed.

The myth simple continues because that Mike Tyson phenomenon has worn off. You add that to the fact that the once recognized as, "The greatest title in the whole world", the heavyweight championship of the world has been reduced to 4 different belts and paparazzi in L.A. recognizes a little teeny bopper like Hayden Panettiere (Wlad's girl) but not Wlad and wonder who he is, and you have your answer.
