Whitaker was 2 fights away from retirement. And the win is questionable.
BUT, i give Oscar a lot of credit for all he achieved.
He cant be an ATG with his losses.
Questionable?? Close fight, yea it was.
Who do you consider "great" in this decade?

there was a real good tribute to dlh when he first retired.the conclusion was that dlh is going to the hall of fame, but that he lost all of his important fights.thats how the hardcore will remember him.casual fans will say he is a top 3 atg.i think you can make an argument because of the gold medal and being a ten time champion in 6 divisions.i will say that he helped the sport.a lot

- Pernell Whitaker
- Hector Camacho
- Wilfredo Rivera
- Julio Cesar Chavez II
- Ike Quartey
- Felix Trinidad
- Arturo Gatti
- Javier Castillejo
- Fernando Vargas
- Luis Ramon Campas
- Shane Mosley II
- Ricardo Mayorga
And being competitive in losses to Floyd Mayweather Jr., Bernard Hopkins and Felix Sturm.
All that over a span of six weight divisions and generating 12.8m pay per view buys in the process.
He loss to Mosley and Tito.
The fighters in bold don't help you're argument.
They where ether past it, undersized or not good to begin with.

Or have you only been watching boxing since 2007? GTFO of here with this ****, Oscar is one of the greatest of all time, and the best fighter of the 90's and early to mid 2000's.
I'll back it up later when I get home but me and my girl are going to see her dads band.
Go educate yourself on Oscar in the meantime, you should acknowledge his greatness by the time I return if you have half a wit.
Absolutely not

Oscar is a hall of famer. Oscar is not an all time great. Oscar was lucky to receive decisions over Pernell Whitaker and Ike Quartey. Oscar was robbed in the Shane Mosley rematch. Oscar is a closet ****sexual.
