He looks in great shape, slightly concerned about a loss of speed but I pick Haye by 5th or 6th round stoppage

Considering the fact that he fights approx once a year that's pretty sad.

They should change his name to David "Lazy" Haye.

So to be 215ish for his last few HW bouts is what 5 lbs heavier in 5 years. I actually thought that was too little.

Haye was 235 lbs in the build up the the Barrett fight at one point, and I was somewhat surprised to see him lose so much come fight night.

He must've been 230+ in the camp for this fight and has trimmed down in to shape, in quite a timely fashion.

I think he's actually taken things quite gradually and well.
If Ruiz drags him into deep waters the extra weight could be a factor -- and lead to a late Ruiz TKO win.

You make Ruiz sound like some kind of evil life guard, in any case that's 5 lbs more for Ruiz to "drag around".

What makes you so informed to say it's not just natural growth, but "extra weight"?

It's only 222lbs. That's still relatively light for today's heavyweights, former cruisers or not. He may have intentionally put a bit extra on because it's Ruiz he's fighting. He seems in very good shape; the sort of shape most heavyweights will never be in.

I can see the headline now, if David Haye wins, Floyd Sr will spout "Well, he's bigger than he's ever been, he must be on steroids!"....

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he trained hard and he still looks better then 90% of the heavyweights out there. All I'm saying is I don't think he put 100% into this fight.
If you dont think haye put 100% into this fight then your tripping

looks better than all of the other heavies like you said and is the fastest out there by a long way
