You're forgetting that Floyd fractured his hand early in that fight.

I think that the competition would be much stiffer at 154 or 160 for Floyd because he would be at a height and weight disadvantage in almost every fight. At welterweight he is not at a disadvantage to any of the fighters in the division and would without a doubt be heavily favored to beat any of the current welterweights.

incorrect, margarito was the logest titleholder at ww and considered the best by far by boxing experts

baldo was never ever considered the best at anything

Most hardcore fans felt Floyd's biggest test was Margarito. Brian Kenny was just being ridiculous. But WHATEVER. He's fighting Shane Mosley on may 1 and a win would be huge for his resume, overall and at 147.

That is for damn sure cuz I thought Margarito was tougher than Baldomir at the time

Do you think a win of Shane will be bigger than Chicanito, Corrales, and Castillo?

                I am leaning towards yes.

Margarito, you mean the guy that fought with illegal handwraps, that Margarito? I see why he was one of the most dangerous fighters.

Not Corrales IMO. But the rest, probably. I'm not saying Corrales is greater than Shane but the version Floyd fought was a monster, a top5 p4per in his physical prime.

At the time nobody kew that. And, there is no proof that Margarito was illegaly wrapping his hands at the time either.
