He was a lineal Champion and Undefeated at WW.
He also has a chance for another Lineal title vs. Mosley.

Hes an underrated welter weight. People who talk about his comp cant go back and change history.

Baldi and Judah were the 1 and 2 WW's when Floyd beat them. No mater how anyone spins it.

Wow, the only reason Baldomir was #1 is because he beat Zab in a huge upset, and Zab has proved time and time again that he just can't beat a top WW, he has the skills but mentally he is one of the worst fighters I have ever seen. Those guys were at the top of the division for less than a year and it was before the division became stacked with talent, and then Floyd never fought a real WW again , until now. Floyd is a *****, all he cares about is money and his undefeated record. I don't know how anyone can be a fan of a guy who has a boring style and isn't willing to even fight the best possible competition with that boring ass style. I don't even mind being a defensive minded fighter , I did however, hate it when he opted to retire and not fight Margarito, Cotto, Mosley in his mid 30's instead of late 30's, Williams, even guys like Cintron, Cintron, Berto, Collazo. He fought two way overrated WW's and became the king of the division and then never gave one WW a chance to dethrone him. Gutless.

To be honest, I am a huge Floyd fan and I think this fight is kinda late not too late but it has lost some of its luster. But I would really love to see Floyd fight Kelly Pavlik at 160 because he would be the underdog in that fight by a mile and it would be great if he found a way to win. But oh well, the Mosley fight is still decent but I don't see Floyd losing at all.
