you don't punch softer because you move up. your opponents can take punches better as you move up.

    get it now?

    dumb truck.
    Grow up.

Who said Floyd was weaker? I said he doesnt hit as hard. Thats obvious. So everyone Floyd fought that he KO'd had a bad chin...lmao.

But generally take a guy at say 147. When he moves up to 154 , he'll punch harder even if it's only slightly.

The difference is though the guys at 154 can take punches better as well.
thats not always true my man, even in real life. Have you ever met a person who was like 6ft 220 pounds and built like all muscle but now they are older and they are 300 pounds. That guy is much weaker than he was at 220. The 220 pound guy would beat his ass in any event. Everyone is different and its all about how you move up in weight

this has nothing to do with pacquiao. i don't want to talk about pac. there's enough threads about him.

this started with the floyd-jmm at 130 thread.

Are you talking about athletes though? I am pretty sure if a dude weight 220 and is all muscles then weight 300 and is al muscles he will not punch any weaker.

So right now, Floyd can not KO top 130 pounders because he lost power?

Floyd had power in both hands at the low weights. As he moved up he lost that power.
Floyd's hands have gotten weaker as well, which is a big factor.

I generally agree that most fighter get stronger, but that power usually doesn't translate to the higher divisions like Pac or Tommy Hearns who knock guys out way above their starting weight classes.
