Pacquiao should have given Marquez an immediate rematch at 135.

I think JMM is a damn good fighter, but I question why he turns down some of the fights he does and doesn't chase some of the fighters that would do a lot for his legacy. I know that he has a lot of hardcore fans, but I'm gonna be somebody to admit that he's overrated. Casa had just been in a life and death struggle with Katsidis who is limited. Juan Diaz got brutalized by Nate Campell who is an average fighter. I used to think that Valero was this untested fighter, but I would give both Pac and JMM a **** load of credit if they beat him but they don't want it with the Cave Man. I also had Pacquiao beating JMM in the rematch fair and square. Anybody who had that **** scored 115-112 is being biased toward one fighter. Pac should've gotten credit with a second knockdown in the third round to make it 10-7.

JMM doesn't even want to fight Khan who isn't as good as Funeka, Katsidis, Valero, Maidana, or Bradley. If he can't beat Khan, how the hell is he gonna handle those guys? I know this may sound biased. But he shouldn't be ranked P4P unless he fights one of those guys. What separates Barrera and Morales from JMM is that they at least tried to win a fourth title. JMM doesn't even mention wanting to do it.

I would have loved to see at at 135, I think Marquez could have won a bit more convincingly by the 3rd time in a another close fight, but no point in dreaming since it will never happen :[

Look at the weight class JMM fought Floyd at. Lets see how good Floyd would look against B-hop at 168. I garuantee B-Hop, Ward, Abraham and others would blank Floyd at 168 in a similar fashion if not worst.

Honestly I would like to see Pac beat JMM at 135 so he can have the ring belt at 135, 140 and possible 147. Now that would be one helluva hat trick....to hold all three at the same time.

don't you think 2002 version of Floyd would have beaten 2008 version of JMM at 135?

I agree with a lot of people that 130-135 Floyd beats Marquez from 130-135...but the difference is IMO it would have been a bit more competitive.

I think it was more of pac destiny that he will fight this giants of WW to become one of the greatest. If pac had fought JMM i don't think he will be as popular as he is right now. But i really love to see them fight at 140 but it will not be good fight for JMM as i see he's not that fast and good as he was in his lower weight class and pac just got better and stronger.

Well Marquez had a chance at an immediate rematch after their first fight and he ran to Indonesia to fight for 35 K. The fight probably would have happened after the diaz fight but no one turns down Oscar. Now I hear the Marquez is asking for 50/50 which is laughable.

yes but it wouldn't have been a wipe out like his fight at 147. Floyd still wins in a 7-5 (possible 8-4) type fight, but that's just my opinion.
