Pacquiao should have given Marquez an immediate rematch at 135.

Remember, it was after Diaz that the suggestion of Pac vs Oscar became a reality.

If pac stuck at 135, fought Marquez again, who knows what would have happened.
i agree, if pac was stuck at 135 then boxing might not be as popular as today.

pac become more popular than floyd after JMM so we don't care as we already know that pac has 1 win and 1 draw against marquez, were just happy now that pac overshadowed floyd that makes floyd jealous. LOL.

JMM is too old and too slow to be competitive at anything over 135. What's the point of fighting at 140 lbs when JMM is not that good at anything over 135?

It was JMM's fault, they could have fought the rematch immediately after the first fight but marquez acted like a prima dona and said pac should have his own title first before there would be a rematch. He got a dose of his own medicine.

floyd knows that very well and he has to come 2 pounds above the agreed limit against a career featherweight. lol

People need to stop crying about the two ****ing pounds. JMM had no chance even before the contract was signed. He's not on the same level as someone like Floyd.

Floyd would beat him 10 out of 10 times. They can fight at 135 or 140 lbs and Floyd would still taxed that ass.

Why do some people want to see JMM fight Manny at 140 lbs? Manny got a lot better since their last fight and Manny is in his prime. JMM has slowed down and he's getting old. The fight should take place at 135 lbs or Manny should fight someone else. I don't want to see him pick JMM apart at anything over 135 lbs. JMM has a small chance to beat Manny at 135 lbs, but I don't give him a chance at anything over 135 lbs.

Thats the guy that weighs him and keeps records of his daily weight so I doubt he is wrong.

Plus, I believe him simply because I know Manny is not a WW. His best weight is between 130 and 135.
I agree pac's best weight is 130-135lbs he's just that good to destroy all the elites of 147lbs and below.

why not fight the elite 135 fighter then?

JMM-Pac III is a much better fight than Pac-Margarito or Pac-Valero IMO. (and also much more dangerous, which is why he isn't considering it)

We know Pac's team like to give Manny all the advantages in a fight. JMM at 135 lbs is taking a risk they don't want to take when they can keep beating weight drained, past prime, or B-level fighters at WW.
