Pacquiao should have given Marquez an immediate rematch at 135.

The only thing I don't understand is why didn't Pacquiao want to prove he was a better boxer than JMM by showing it in the third fight? He sure as hell gave Erik a third fight but that's because he whooped his ass in the second one... So that's probably the only thing that I could ever critisize about Manny is by not wanting any of JMM a third time because he knew damm well JMM won twice.

Arum wanted to make Pacquaio get another belt and give Diaz a payday.

I would have enjoyed a rematch TBH.

After that fight, Oscar ruined things.

Then the Hatton fight came along and JMM was no longer in the scenario.

Pac is much more comfortable at 140+ and JMM just isn't.

Like Guzman, Pac doesn't need to try and make weight when he is comfortable at the higher weight. However even Guzman is having trouble making 135 now. His style isn't suited for the higher weights because he isn't good enough at it

He could have fought JMM a year later at 135 for the undisputed lightweight title.

Actually that 3rd fight was a rematch clause and Morales chose to use it.

I agree that Pac should have had a third, but even fighting Diaz was at the time, a big question. Perhaps because he beat up a washed Morales in a close fight? I'm not sure

I agree. I didnt think Pac won either fight, especially the 2nd. Although to be fair, Marquez did turn down the immediate rematch after the first to fight Chris John in Indonesia (wtf?).

I'm glad he didn't though, boxing would have been so much different.

Remember, it was after Diaz that the suggestion of Pac vs Oscar became a reality.

If pac stuck at 135, fought Marquez again, who knows what would have happened.

he could off but then he wouldnt be able to step up and take out oscar and hatton, after he done that jmm faded in the backround,he got could of fought jmm instead of fighting clottey but it didnt happen, one reason was arum and i heard jmm wanted 50/50 and a random drug test, that wasnt happening and jmm has to take part of the blame aswell
