What do you think Ali would do against a klitschko?

He might not be a harder puncher than either of them, but hes in their league. The hardest hitting Southpaw ever in the sport of boxing. Also completely irrelevant when discussing how Ali would fare against Wlad as their is no similarity whatsoever in their styles.Comment

Once. Once that wasn't an illegal club to the back of the head, that is. And it's kinda doubtful that he'd have hit him with that without the first two illegal shots. Wlad still dominated that fight, so what's your point?
Liston was a beast and had a huge size and strength advantage over Patterson. But it's fairly common knowledge that he was old and inactive when he fought Ali.imagine liston 15 rounds in the ring with patterson, u would be saying right now "it took him so many rounds to stop patterson...".
boxers have sparring sessions, and exhibition fights just for this problem.
frazier was blind, liston was not in his prime, foreman was on speed.
next excuse

Is this a attempt to become a comedian. Your Kidding Right? A figher is judged by there prime, not by how they were past it. You were bringing up how Ken Norton did against 36 year old Ali when he was past his prime. Who cares how good who is when there older. It's Prime vs Prime.Ali wishes he could outbox Vitali.
Vitali does everything Ali does better, faster and more powerfully.
Vitali moves around the ring like a ballerina and has mastered the hands down, pull back style better than Ali ever could.
Once Ali turned Vitali's age he was a punching bag for bums. He is inferior to Vitali in every way.
Ali's prime was before the layoff which was the mid to late 1960s when he was active and his speed was at it's peak. Also boxers that rely a lot on speed and there legs are not the same once older, Ray Leonard, Roy Jones, Ali, but Ali was still able to make adjustments and still be a champion.
Prime late 60's Ali outboxes Wlad or Vitali to a UD and probably stops Wlad. I wasn't impressed with his victory over Chambers. He looked like a predictable robot, but not being tested because there are a bunch of bums in the division right now.Last edited by RayLeonard82; 03-21-2010, 12:03 AM.Comment

It was blatantly obvious in the Vitali fight who the harder puncher was, and by a good margin. Now Vit is more of an accumulation puncher, but still.
Sanders did catch Wlad with a wicked headbutt to the face to start that one off though.Comment
