    No, no, no...
Thw worst ranking by Cliff Rold...
Holyfield it's hard to rate between top 10, but 6th...
Holmes can be in top 10, but in top 5 not at all... He had close fights with fading Ken Norton and Earnie Shavers... Fought may of most unpresentable challengers ever fought for heavy title...

      Totally out of context.

Name those unpresentalbe challengers please, then I'll name all the great contenders he faced. Holmes has had a great reign.

Dempsey... He IS a great champion, he fought bigger guys. He was a big fun to watch, thanks to his style, but you know what? Chris Arreola told not so long ago that he would`ve knocked Dempsey out... And he was absolutely right! I think Arreola stops such guy within six! No way the guy of Dempsey sizes and style could last any longer even against the fattiest version of Chris.

Ali/Louis... If the author of the article had a formula to count the champions`s points, i`d like to see how many did these champions get... Because when it comes to accomplishments I cannot call a more accomplished fighter than Joe Louis!

P.S. to the guy who told that Evander is not a top 10 ATG HW - Holyfield started at LHW, he was always a small HW who fought much bigger guys! Hands down is among the greatest HWs and boxers...

              Dig this......

Hey guys. I have to say that I agree with some of the rankings but to have HOLMES, FOREMAN, JOHNSON, and LOUIS above EVANDER HOLYFIELD is INSANE! He should have been 2nd on this list HANDS DOWN! There is no way any1 other than ALI should be above him. People always talk about the DREAM match between ALI/TYSON but I personally think HOLYFIELD/ALI would have been a better fight simply because HOLYFIELD was a complete fighter and much smarter than TYSON. ALI would have stopped TYSON but I'm not so sure he would have stopped HOLYFIELD. HOLYFIELD could have beaten him.

I think that as the time goes Wlad can earn his spot in the top 10, or he can fail to enter the top 25 at all... Only time will show- it is really to early to judge on both Klitschko`s place at the ATG rankings...

There is no evidence that Dempsey was a lesser puncher. His aggresivity made him a much more dangerous fighter than Vitali.

Dempsey has a totally different style : huge power in both hands, even Bert Sugar believes he had a better left hook than Frazier. So yes, I'm being objective. The come forward styles of both Dempsey and Arreola would have played in Dempsey's favor. I say Dempsey by ko in 1 or 2 rounds. If you read the other replies, you'll realize you're the only one who thinks Arreola would have beaten Dempsey. Not a good sign...
                  Yeh, destruction itself

Yeh, I find it not a very good sign, because basically what is everybody saying here is that "If Dempsey and Arreola were to fight, Dempsey would have knocked Chris out cold, cause he is inducted in the Hall of Fame" How can a (lets take Jack`s maximum weight) 200lbs fighter knock out cold a 250lbs fighter with a granite chin? Or maybe Dempsey hit harder than Arreola? Nonsense! Or maybe he was Pacquaioshly fast? No,he wasn`t! I didn`t see incredible defense either... Dempsey could move and bob well, but when he started to trade...

Another question: would Dempsey beat Tua?

If you find a CW (cause that is what Dempsey weight for the most of his career - 188-198lbs) with a same or close to Dempsey`s style, I say Arreola knocks such guy out within 6...

How can pretend people to see in top 10 a man (W.Klitschko) who was kayoed by Puritty and Sanders...
How can compare someone Arreola or Tua to Dempsey? If u want to imagine a dream-match u must think that today Dempsey would be far heavier than he was...
