WK is a very good heavyweight. His sheer size and ring generalship would take him past most HW in a head to head clash. TBH, Ali, Louis, Holmes, Foreman, Lennox and Tyson would beat him on any given night-assuming primes.

He is slow, he is mechanical. He has aweful footspeed. I also think he would struggle with Bowe. Other fighters such as Frazier, Marciano et al may win/lose to him in equal measure, although he is pretty much twice their size.

He'd beat the rest pretty handsomely. Top 20 for me, further up as/when great fighters fall to him. He fought 1 great [LL] and was beaten within 5/6 rounds I believe.

Wlad is very athletic, has great footwork and excellent handspeed.

And Vitali dominated Lennox and scared him into retirement. That's a FACT.

Out of this list I would only rank Wlad ahead of Tunney, Corbett and possibly Schmeling. Jmo.
I would rate all the guys you mention ahead of Wlad...the ones who I might be inclined to remove would be Archie Moore and Ezzard Charles just because they weren't at their respective bests at heavy.

            I agree.

Anyone who thinks Wlad is not athletic must not have watched any of his fights.

Unfortunately, Wlad does not have the opponents in the current HW era to match that of many past greats. But he is emerging as the dominant man and handily destroying all opposition in front of him. I love the restoration project of Steward following Wlad's losses to Sanders and Brewster. Wlad has done good work before and after hooking up with Manny.

Byrd, Brewster, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Rahman, Brock, Peter, McCline, Botha

Not great, but good as can be in the last decade. He will have a place in HW history.

I put him in there with the top 75. That's not knocking the guy. A lot of it has to do with the lack of great competition and how inferior he makes them look.

Keep this in mind... top 75.. of all time. All Heavyweights of all time included. That's pretty good for a somewhat limited fighter.
