I kinda figured it would be him, or Marquez.

I give him full credit for the MAB win. I'm not hip on his fight career pre-Marquez, but I hear that MAB was the favorite in that fight.

Full credit where it's due, even if some people claim MAB was on a downswing after he participated in those wars with Morales.

only Floyd fans who try and recreate history will say MAB was on the downside.
MAB was on the greatest runs the FW division has ever seen and was dominating elite fighters. He beat 3 future HOF fighters, secured his legacy as one of the greatest mexican fighters of all time, secured his spot as an all time great, and Pac was a huge underdog coming into that fight. I was shocked as hell pac won, and for Pac to dominated a top 3 pound for pounder and HOF fighter like that was amazing. Way more impressive than his win over Cotto.

Everyone but Pac has at the very most put up a weak performance against Clottey, that's no legit criticism. It's not like Margarito completely dominated Cotto, he just showed an incredible example of perseverance and pressure after taking some huge shots for most the fight. Mosley matched up better with Margarito. Cotto was no washed up bum, he was the second best welterweight in the world at the time.

Pacquiao is getting criticism for fighting and dominating the second best welterweight in the world.

Mayweather is fighting the best of the best in May and yet people don't give him credit.
