PS: Welcome to Skagen. Beautiful isn't it?
I am not really serious. Fighting is dangerous though and by doing more drugs they would appear more hardcore and willing to do crazy things to their body for our entertainment despite the consequences.

But I am ok with stricter testing if they can work out a good way to do it.

Skagen is great. I just got back from my fishing trip. I am a commercial fisherman now in Skagen. Seas were stormy and rough, but I do have some good sea tales to tell to the tourists!

    LOL

All of a sudden Pac should have to do this after being slandered? Floyd never worried about this until a fight with Manny was being discussed. All of a sudden he should be able to change the rules at his own whim? Bull****. If the governing bodies or state athletic commissions put this rule in effect and Pac refuses.....its all on him. Until that time Floyd is the one I see holding up the fight by trying to make his own rules. I don't want to hear anything about Floyd meeting Pacs demands. Fact is Manny didn't slander Floyd and try changing any rules. If Floyd wants this fight he can follow the same rules as everybody else. If he can't accept those rules, like he always did before, he doesn't really want to fight.

A lot of people seem to want to blame Pac. Where were all you people, and why weren't you worried before?
lets be honest,if floyd really wanted to manny then he would of agreed to a 24 day cut off period like it was discussed or if manny and roach really wanted to fight floyd then they could of agreed to a 14 day cut off period and we would of seen the fight, none of them wanted to fight each other so early in the year, both sides are to blame and they are two great boxers and they are not scared of each other, its all about timing and money,we will see this fight before the end of the year, its all being set up nicley,if floyd beats mosley then it has to happen

Mayweather started at 130, and the highest he has been was 154. So how has he gained more weight than Manny from the start of their respective career's? Last I checked, 40 was > then 24. Not saying Manny isn't totally clean, but your math seems to be off.

Floyd Mayweather jr: "People forget when i also came up from 106 at the same age in the amateurs. while he was gettin knock out i was winning fighter of the year awards"

"I felt Marquez beat Pacquiao twice and is the better fighter by far"

So apparently it's not impossible since floyd also came up from 106 to knock hatton out cold at 147. He also felt no need for reasurrances against a fighter he thought was far better than pacquiao.

You still haven't answered the question. Why didn't anybody care about OST before it became a deal breaker for Floyd to fight Manny? Catch weights have been common place in boxing since the early 1900's and Floyd was only asked to agree to monetary penalties after he made a lightweight move up 2 classes and than didn't make weight himself.

So my point is, and that's what I think is the key you are missing my friend, is that testing for illegal substances is EXPENSIVE. If the commisions or the alphabet boys came up with a demand for a rigid testing procedure, they'd have to point to a way of financing it. Of course this will never happen untill the public demands for such a scheme is very loud.

So you cannot ask or expect them to introduce a scheme as that would make fighters fight in other states or for other belts if they save money doing so.
I understand what you're saying Bat. But I am of the belief that you can't force somebodies hand by slandering them. What next, is Floyd gonna say to Pac "whats the matter, your mommy won't let you?" if he doesn't bend to Mays demands again? Im all for new testing and I know its expensive, but he was never worried about it before, and I doubt he's very worried about it outside of Pac.

Pacquiao should come out and say he'll take the OST blood test if only the commission (Nevada or whoever), not Floyd asks him too. I believe Pacquiao is clean, but if he refuses the commission, then it will be su****ious. But as of right now, he's never tested dirty. He has every right to refuse Floyd's demands at the moment unless the commission steps in.
