It's disgraceful that Dawson will be off for 10 months before fighting again in August against Jean Pascal. Dawson like Mayweather is a cherry picker, except that he doesn't have Mayweather's drawing power.

I like Jean Pascal, he's a cool dude, and likable boxer. I believe Dawson will suffer first career loss come August.

Not only that but I guess the TS fails to realize that Dawson is the Interim WBC Champion and Pascal the WBC Champion. Dawson really has no choice but to wait out Pascal and get the belt so that he can unify it.

If the TS took 15 seconds to look at the WBC top-15 he would realize there is not a single marketable fighter available for Dawson to fight in the meantime.

The guys on the list include Erdei, Murat, Kostecki, Cleverly, Diaconu, Uzelkov, Bulanti, Muriqi, Spina and Lucas. No television network will pay to see Dawson fight any of those guys. The only rated fighters he might be able to get on TV against are Jones Jr. and Danny Green and they are tied up with their own fights, and Dawson probably wouldn't want to waste his time with either of those guys anyway.

The IBF gave Dawson a choice to fight Cloud and then take care of the rematch clause later. If Dawson had fought and beaten Cloud it certainly would of gave him more credibility. I mean sure the IBF is pretty strict, but you can't blame everything on the sanctioning bodies.

As a matter fact the IBF viewed the rematch clause as a voluntary defense which is why they gave Dawson very little leverage.

If Dawson beat any of those guys, he certainly would gain more respect among boxing fans. Don't give me that crap that there is no other option out there for Dawson, he's just cherry picking, and I'm not saying he's ducking anybody, but he's very PICKY about who he wants to fight. I'm actually surprised Dawson wants to fight Pascal, given that he's a risk.

I'm tired of his inactivity, his failed promises (Dawson said 2010 would be the year that he would shut his critics up), and overreaching for opponents that do not want to fight him (Hopkins).
