In that case, the 600k would have been given to Marquez before signing the contract. GBP changed the contract 2 days before the fight when Floyd realized or flat out refused to make 144. Only then was the 600k offered to Marquez.

Yes it was an incentive for Marquez to stay in the fight, otherwise there was a good chance he could have walked, but just like Cotto he stuck around because of the extra incentive. Imagin if the contract was changed at the last minute to 147 and no incentive would have been given to Marquez. He would have walked.

Are *******s honestly about to argue about this? Is common knowledge of the contract renegotiation is too much for them to fathom. But I get why their upset, as we all know *******s love catchweights!

The coming over weight thing isn't even the main issue, Floyd, a former JMW champ, took on a LW Champion who had never fought above 135. Yeah, NOTHING wrong with that. Poor Cotto having to fight @ 145 instead of 147. Pacquiao cherry picker!!!!!112123890483r90jfrnvfgfvnfr'

cotto wasnt forced or bribed to "stick around." 145 was agreed to from the jump, unlike....

what's to stop mayweather from doing that again? you cant deny that was a bullsht tactic.

Bro. Cotto was fully aware of the agreed upon weight before the contract was even signed. 2 different situations. They didnt change it on him last minute like they did Marquez.

Now scram before u make an even bigger ass out of yourself.
