Gatti was involved in 4 FightsOfTheYear , a KnockoutOfTheYear, an UpsetOfTheYear, ComebackOfTheYear and 3 RoundsOfTheYear. The man was a legendary crowd pleaser I think he deserves to be in there too. If they allow writers and trainers in Im pissed if they dont allow Gatti in. One of a kind.

Well that is all fine and dandy, and I acknowledge that he will get in due to how poor the criteria is to get in, but he isn't in my book (then again who am I...lol). I can't consider a guy, who's best win is Mickey Ward (some may say Patterson or Ruelles but I say Ward), a HOF fighter...but that's just me.

I should know better right... Is crazy that everybody calls every close fight a robbery.

Winky has a case for winning that fight, he does. But, Vargas also has a case of winning that fight. It was a really close fight that could of went either way.

A robbery is Chavez-Whitaker or Casamayor-Santa Cruz those are robberies but nowadays people throw out the word robbery for every close fight is ridiculous.

Bro hes one of my favorite fighters Ive seen it a bunch of times too. And the Taylor fight. He shouldve been awarded the decision IMO.

I watched that fight from a Vargas fan eyes and a Winky fans eyes.

What rounds did Winky win clearly? If you can't remember the exact rounds then tell how many clear rounds did Winky win? I am not talking about close rounds, swing rounds, rounds that could of gone to either guy. But, I am talking about rounds he clearly won that you can not even make a case that he lost. How many of those rounds were there for Winky in the Vargas fight?

I will say this Gatti is not a hall of fame fighter. May he get in? Sure. But, he is not a HOF'er. But, if he does get in it would not be in the first ballot. It will be like a Danny Lopez scenario where it took years for him to get in.

However, Gatti should not be in the HOF when you have fighters like Kobayashi, De Jesus(who is not even in the ballot) and Marcel are not in... That is my $0.02...

Its the impact he left on the sport that get him in. When someone says the name Gatti you know they talking about the blood and guts warrior. The other guy was a Mafia boss...lol.
